Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating:

This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM.

Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them.

Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks.

"... Third time isn't the charm, as it turns out. You have nine hours. We'll help with what we can, as before."

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

[ Fox takes them to the Fort! They don't have cool teleportation or void portal powers like some of the other Leaders, so everyone has to walk there. ]

Just looking at the fort. Here we are. It's big. There's nothing that stands out from the outside, right?]

[ now, to work! anything off at first glance as ochako heads inside? any footprints, blood marks, anything out of sorts? ]

They said they didn't find much yesterday, so we'll have to make sure we're thorough and try not to miss anything.

Thanks, Fox. [it's echoed but he nods in agreement to what ochako says. since mob's taking the obvious route, and ochako's taking care to look for prints and marks, he'll head inside and begin to walk ahead to make his way up toward the top, checking the ceiling and walls as he goes.]

The fort's pretty big, so I'm not too surprised. We have a little more time today though so we can cover a lot of ground.

Sora finds nothing of note on the ceiling or walls. ]

[I hope there's absolutely nothing here. Reading the description of the size of this location makes me so tired, they can be here all day.

I think we should go to the courtyard first. Has anything been disturbed on the ground or walls of the courtyard? Does anything stand out? If not, he will go to the first of the three lodge buildings and start looking around. Moving the bedding off the beds, looking under the mattress, looking on the floor under the beds.]

[ following mob to the courtyard, but while he goes to the lodges, ochako goes to the fourth building. she'll check the door for anything weird first, then poke her head in. does it still look normal? no tables or chairs overturned, no blood on the floors or tabletops? she'll also check the walls and ceilings. ]

[oh okay we're going this way. that's fine! he will follow them. mob enters the first of the buildings and ochako heads for the fourth, so sora takes the time to check around the perimeters of the buildings themselves to see if there's anything on the ground, anything sticking out of the walls, blood, etc. if he finds nothing, he will go in and check the second and the third lodge building to check under the beds and bedding, including under the mattresses.]

Ochako will find that no tables or chairs have been overturned, there is no blood, and the walls and ceilings are fine.

Same goes for Sora. ]

[I hate this. Is there any other furniture, or anything else in the room besides the beds? If so, he will check that. Otherwise, he'll very, very carefully check the floor, the walls, the ceiling, the door handles, the windows.

I bet saying he looks carefully makes it true, mods are like "oh last team didn't say carefully, Mob finds Pikachu's corpse."]

and he'll wander to the other building where the jail area is, once again checking floor and ceiling and the different doors. he will start to look in the cells and also check the other rooms. are the doors still locked? and for the rooms that are open, is there anything that might look out of place or stashed in there given they were initially ransacked?]

[ Pikachu emerges from the dead to congratulate Mob on his level up in investigating. No, Mob looks carefully but still finds nothing.

Everything else is in place in the kitchen.

The doors are still locked in the jail. Nothing looks out of place. ]

[He's going to check and the doors and windows and door handle to every single building. God. Is there anything in the courtyard except these four buildings?

If not, then he's going to go up the stairs (?) to the roof area. Is it just one set of stairs going up? Is there anything on the stairs?]

[ well, fine, guess we're going upstairs now. assuming there's nothing on the stairs (or ochako just side-steps it i guess), is there anything odd about the walking area at first glance?

he follows the others upstairs after ensuring there's nothing else in the jail or in the courtyard itself. since mob has the stairs and ochako has the cannons, sora will go and check the contraption used for hanging people. the noose is still missing, right? is there anything off about the device itself or around the area of it?]

[ This isn't Francy so I don't know what else is in the fort besides what it says in the Locations page but anyway Mob finds nothing.

Nothing odd about the walking area at a glance! Inside a cannon, Ochako finds a corpse by which I mean she also finds nothing.

The noose is still missing, and there is nothing off about the device or the area around it. ]

Mob is fine though he's just walking along having a nice time. There's nothing on the whole ass walking area? What about the roof? Is there a corpse on the roof?]

uuuuuuuuugh what if she like. peers over the walls. nothing was pitched over the walls, right? ]

[...well. he'll go the opposite direction of mob to walk around the fort's walking area, checking over the edges and along the path as he goes. he's taking the route that will take him past the howling rose and toward the swamp, though he looks over at the rose to see if he can spot anything unusual in the distance.

walks are nice. forts are not. nothing over the edges like blood or claw marks as someone clung on for dear life?]

[Well. He's just going to get distracted, and start looking out at the ocean instead. Is that a seagull flying by? Wow. So nice.
