WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... Third time isn't the charm, as it turns out. You have nine hours. We'll help with what we can, as before." ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. Especially when you think about the group that slept outside last week. They all got a lot of different injuries even though they were out in the open. The pub's a little smaller and we were all in there, so it doesn't make a lot of sense.

...do you think Raven might've died somewhere else and then got moved back?

That's possible, but then why go to the trouble to trash the pub in such a manner? You'd have to do it very carefully to avoid any of us being hurt unless they moved all of us out first and that... seems unlikely.

Should I compliment a murderer for being thoughtful in that case?

I don't know, it just seems weird how everything there lined up - how Raven-san was sitting, the drinks, and you guys being uninjured... It makes it seem like they talked to Raven-san first, maybe agreed to fight it out as long as you guys would be left alone.

And Raven-san was pretty eager to sacrifice himself last week, so... we all knew how he felt about protecting everyone else, even the murderers.

You think someone's specifically picking people they think would be willing to sacrifice for everyone else?

This doesn't look good for us if we have to pick someone to vote for in that case.

I don't know. But it's possible, isn't it? If they're really out there trying to kill people... why not pick a more willing target?

They make more sensible targets than some of the others, at the least.

None of us got hurt though is the thing. It's easier to wreck a place if you're the only one moving. I don't think any of us were moved outside but if Raven did die fighting in the pub then shouldn't there have been like...I don't know, more footprints in weird places to avoid stepping on us or something?

[hm.] I dunno. Something feels wrong about it and I don't know what.

I know, Sora. I'm not saying it isn't plausible.

I think you're right-- that there's something we're missing.

[he seems to relax upon that, but he's also a little freaked out that it happened in the first place when they were all together.]

Think it's worth somebody re-examining the pub?

And you're sure your group didn't have a rowdy time or anything? [A beat.] However, its odd. Alyssa was still there when me and Ochako came there. You guys all woke up and left, right?

A little rowdy, but not that rowdy. And, uh, to be fair, we were pretty drunk. So I guess we just totally missed the . . . body . . .

Rowdy like "throwing things" rowdy?

And how was Alyssa during that night? Did she drink with you all?

No! No throwing things. That's not my kinda rowdy.

And Alyssa was playing the game with us, yeah.

Did you notice that you left her in the morning? She was acting a little strange, even for someone drunk...

Not enough to trash the entire place. We were just playing that game and Rufus and Dorothy were trying to outdo each other before we all fell asleep. [he frowns.] We woke up and left, but I talked to somebody about this last week, too. It was a little hard to remember who all was there at first when we left. Like the details were fuzzy...

...could explain why none of us really noticed Raven when we left.
