WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... Third time isn't the charm, as it turns out. You have nine hours. We'll help with what we can, as before." ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. [ Does the broom handle account for the circular part? Like, say, if the blade was driven in down to the broom handle? Or perhaps he was hit with the blunt end of it there as well? ]

[ Hmm. Not exactly how? Does it match more if he...like, wiggles the handle around in the wound, like maybe the wound was caused by the broom handle in movement?

Also, I'm gonna timebend--while we're at it he'll check the head wound. Are any of the following present:

• a reddish, almost burn-like area surrounding the injury/supposed bullet-wound (if a gun was held firmly against his eye)


• the reddish area and also some blackening around it (if a gun was held loosely against the eye)


• blackening, stipple-like marks around the injury, and a burning/smoky smell (if he was shot from up to 30cm away)


• just the stippling (if he was shot from up to 90cm away)


• none of the above, just...gorey wound (if he was shot from further than 90cm away)

[ Wiggling the handle around doesn't make it match any more, no.

- Squints as I look up what stippling means, but it's hard to say because of all the gore. ]

[ If he tries wiping some of the gore clean with a sleeve, will it make it any clearer re: the stippling? What about the angle--does it look like the shot went in at a 90 degree angle to the eye, or different? ]

[ You know what, sure, we'll give this to you: there's stippling. You may place your forensic expertise aside now.

If the wound was, hypothetically, a shot, it wasn't at a particular angle. So, like, it's just horizontal through the head maybe. ]

alright just to be clear and cover my bases: does this appear to be more of a gunshot wound, a blade wound, or an arrow wound? Which I guess ICly he'd be trying to determine by checking for size and shape of the wound and if it's more of a clean in and out (arrow/blade wound) or just absolutely fuckin shredded inside (gun wound) ]
