WEEK THREE: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around, but at this point, everyone should realize what has happened. Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your fourth investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). [ Well, there's no feetie prints or torn cloth or scuff marks on the ground, but right outside at the entrance to the ruins, there are... some blood splatters! It looks like they lead deeper into the ruins. ]

[Usually he wouldn't bully his way in front, though. But this time, he reaches out to gently take Taako's arm so he can shimmy ahead deeper into the ruins after the blood trail.]

Don't walk into any traps this time. Perception checks are worth it. [ she grouches at blanca before looking down at the trail. no footsteps in these blood trails right. ]

[ No footsteps in the blood! The droplets seem to be leading them towards the massive temple, and seem about the same size the entire time. The ground is so broken and covered in jungle debris it's hard to tell much immediately, but it does look like some of it was disturbed...?

Either way, there's nothing else on their trail until they get near the trap areas. The splatters here are seem to grow bigger as they progress. But careful! The traps are still very much active. ♥ ]

Personally, I've got Wisdom score, so, nothing to worry about here with ol' Taako.

[He is not offended by Blanca doing his Correct Job as a tank, pretty much sticking directly behind him when they enter the Danger Zone.]

[Gently trying to move some of the debris and jungle junk to look at the trail? How disturbed? By what, feets? Or something being dragged? Or like someone got caught in a trap.]

He glances behind him, but then continues a bit ahead toward the temple and the trap area. He stops at the beginning and looks around, first of all,

does he see any damn traps? Arrow traps? Trip-wire traps? Plate stepping traps. Is the blood going through them in any direction in particular?]

she's standing between blanca and taako, keeping an eye on both of them, looking up at the... ruins ceiling ig ]

[ The debris seems to be disturbed in the same fashion as if someone ran through it? No footprints or anything, just... people clearly passed through here.

It's like, all of the traps. It's one of those really stupid areas that are just a large expanse of traps one after another for no good reason? The blood splatters are still mostly on the ground, leading them through all the traps and deeper into the temple. There's what looks like small dings and scratches on the wall...

There's nothing on the ceiling, but since Lup rolled a four, she gets to have to dodge a few arrows as she triggers a trap. Blanca and Taako are safe! Sort of! Because Taako is behind her and will probably also be in the line of danger. Hilarious. ]

[He yelps and ducks and probably horties his horts but he somehow doesn't get hit by an arrow, because there's such a thing as Too Much, man. He isn't looking at any friggin' scratches and dings unless someone else wants to, just immediately using his shot of adrenaline to hustle further into the Ruins.]

[He steps forward to try to grab Taako, but isn't quick enough, and then has to turn back to check on Lup. THESE TWO FUCKS.] Ru! [He just

opens his arms to catch her if she tries to leap away from the traps, so he can jerk her into the ruins??]

for blanca and lup, that is. Taako gets out of the trap area like a... plastic bag in the wind probably he's neither fast nor steady today, but he does get to find a dead body propped sitting against the wall! He can tell it's dead because it has no head. ]

[He shrieks, just like. A little bit? Like a tiny one, because who isn't shocked when they see a body, and also he's been on a lot of these and hasn't actually found a body himself yet. Soo-won found the one on the moon by himself!! Aaaah!

Anyway, it's fine. Um. Approaching the BODY? Yes, slowly and unsteadily. He taps the ground ahead of him with a foot each time in case it's more traps.]

[STOP THIS, THE TRAP. He grabs the leaping Lup and ducks, but then quickly hikes Lup up under his arm and on his chest so he can pretty much just bulldoze away and after Taako.

NOT TODAY, SATAN. I refuse to let Flurry take more damage.

Lup and Blanca probably pause long enough to just exchange one ?! glance about the distant shriek, but he doesn't stop running until he almost takes Taako out when they come charging in.]

Be careful. Watch out for any more traps.

[Carefully, he unravels his arms to let Lup down onto her feet, but he's already moving himself by the twins.

His face is grim. He doesn't like that it's a girl. But he'll cautiously slides over to see if he can tell anything else about it.

Are there any other wounds on the body? The stomach, the arms, the legs? Wow, there's no head. Hate that!]

[ is taako going to undress the corpse to tell re: bruises. She's sitting down, so it's hard to gauge height properly. It's illegal to ask for wounds before Saturday, but there's a pool of blood under her and a blood splatter on the wall about in line to having come out of her nerk.

There's some more scratches and dings on the walls around here too! Also there's no head under a rock but there is another trap, except Lup is being careful so it's just boring. If the leopard wasn't in another location I'd put it in. Anyway, the temple obviously keeps going much deeper than that, in case you are wondering where you are. ]

[ be happy i even gave you a gender without going "are ya looking at the tits, kids". anyway. marks on the wall are mostly under eye level for lup, and they look like they were made with something sharp. they vary a little in height, but don't go any higher than what her eye level.
