WEEK FIVE: MINGLE

WEEK FIVE: MINGLE (29 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Alyssa, Hikaru, and Bucky's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. On that note, if your character did not stay, please make sure to check your notifs. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Finally, participants will find that they now have another pet to take care of. Small creatures (based on any animal of player choice, real or mythical) will be following them around all week. However, these creatures are emotionally tied to their participant, so whatever the person they are connected to is feeling, they will outwardly display it. Angry? They will be hostile. Happy? So are they! Even more, they will react to other participants based on how theirs feels about the other. Anyone their participant loves, they will also love. Hope you don't secretly hate anyone, that might be awkward.

[ Swan can be found in the northern castle this week! Anywhere in there, they're looking around. ]

[swan! sora will approach with a wide grin.]

It's a lot better than ours!

[ is this because it's pink. ]

Did you see? There's a spa room!

[reconnective]

I think you might be a little biased. [because it's pink.] But no, I haven't looked too far yet. What's a spa room?

[retellers]

You're biased. [ :P ] And it's for pampering and relaxing! C'mon.

[ grabs his hands and teleports to it, even though yes they could've waked ]

See? Isn't it cool?

[reconnective]

[THEY COULD HAVE WALKED and once again there's a startled noise as swan grabs him and they go. once they're in the spa room though, he's just kind of blinking.]

...I guess. [what the fuck. they're just baths and make-up, swan.] If you're into that sort of thing.

[retellers]

[ sora. ]

Everyone is into relaxing. C'mon. [ this time they drag him towards one of the chairs ] You act like you've never relaxed in a hot tub before.

[reconnective]

Probably because I haven't? [like why is that a thing? but he lets them drag him along.] All you're doing is sitting there...

Stop, next you'll tell me you've never been to a hot springs before, either. [ it's too late they are going to make him a face mask because they've realized. forcing sora alone in a bath is sad ]

[reconnective]

[...he says nothing! but a face mask is fine.]

Do you remember doing stuff like this before?

Soraaaa. I'll drag you to one sometime.

[ how. don't question them. either way, it is relaxing time ]

Mm. I remember how to do it, but not really actually doing it? Like with make-up or hair stuff.

[reconnective]

Maybe later. [he does not question it. but he'll sit in a chair and absolutely let swan do whatever they want. the leaders have rights.]

Don't ask me. I've never done make-up or hair stuff in my life. I don't think Kairi ever even wore make-up.

[retellers]

It's fun! It's like... art on your face. I don't think I wore it that much either, I just know I knew how to use it.

[reconnective]

I bet it looked nice on you, too. [he hums in thought.] Maybe it's one of those special occasion things?

[retellers]

Probably? It's not like there's a lot of sense putting it on when I'm fighting or anything.

[reconnective]

I don't know, maybe you could stun your enemies with your beauty or whatever. That can be a thing, right?

[retellers]

[ they pause what they're doing and laugh ]

There's no way that's a thing. Who'd be dumb enough to stop fighting someone because they put a little make up on?

[reconnective]

I'm sure there are definitely people dumb enough to do that! It's like a diversion or whatever. [no.]

[retellers]

Yeah I'm sure they try, but there's no way it works! Anyone that pretty would still be pretty without make-up anyway.

[reconnective]

[he seems to give some consideration to that.]

I guess you have a point. But how does that change the part where someone pretty could be used as a distraction?

[retellers]

The part where that wouldn't be me. [ matter of fact? ]

Alright, alright. [jeez!!!] You're fine just the way you are, Swan. Don't worry about it.

I wasn't until you put it like that. [ squints at him but they are wearing a mask so he can't tell ]

I didn't mean to put it like anything!
