Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up.

The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Alyssa, Hikaru, and Bucky's profiles have been removed.

Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel.

Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. On that note, if your character did not stay, please make sure to check your notifs.

Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks.

Finally, participants will find that they now have another pet to take care of. Small creatures (based on any animal of player choice, real or mythical) will be following them around all week. However, these creatures are emotionally tied to their participant, so whatever the person they are connected to is feeling, they will outwardly display it. Angry? They will be hostile. Happy? So are they! Even more, they will react to other participants based on how theirs feels about the other. Anyone their participant loves, they will also love. Hope you don't secretly hate anyone, that might be awkward.

[ goat can also be found anywhere in the northern area this week! once in a while, they might pause, simply staring at their surroundings with a thoughtful look.

as usual, they're around at all hours of the day, no matter how early or late. ]

one;

[perhaps predictably, yona has a sword. she's standing by the entrance to the blacksmith, doing a few practice strikes. it's been a while since she's been able to do this! refreshing. a small crimson dragon (shaped like these, but much tinier) is coiled up and watching her.

anyway, when someone approaches, she will very responsibly stop swinging her sword, but she'll gesture at the blacksmith's door.]

Do you know how to use a sword?

[she's in the woods! she appears to have come out here for a picnic, actually - she's got some food and drink spread out in front of her. but she's not eating.

instead, she seems to be engaged in... a staring contest? the other participants: her small crimson dragon, sir pent, and a tiny... raptor? they're all just sort of. staring at each other.

there's a dessert in between the four of them. it appears to be the last one.

this is stupid.]

three;

[this is the obligatory spa prompt.

she's pretty used to makeup and skincare and so on! but some of these products are new to her. so, what better way to get used to them than to play around with them? when someone enters the room, she smiles and holds up some product or another. (it'll be a different product for each tag-in.)]

[Ange is dressed like this this week! Everyone thank the pripri designers for giving us prince Ange instead of princess. She is not carrying a sword though, that's dangerous.

Also a small bird is nesting in her hair.]

a. puppet show

[Anyway, Ange can be found watching the puppet show with what is first curiosity, and then plain horror and disgust. Looks like the execution this puppet show is showing is Kano's; as soon as she realizes what's going on, she frowns tightly and scowls.

So you might find her attempting to tug the puppets off the stage. Vandalism from Ange!!]

b. castle

[Ange can be found hanging around outside the castle as if a ghost, staring up at it with a blank expression on her face.

Her turtledove, still nesting in her hair, seems a little down and wistful, though--at least as much as a bird can look wistful.

The moment she notices someone is there, though, she smiles at them brightly.]

It is beautiful, isn't it...?

[The dragon... Ange stares at it with rapt attention, because that... is a dragon. It's a dragon!! And it's so cute!!

But also then she processes what else is happening here, and hold up her hands sheepishly, shaking her head.

The turtledove on the top of her head coos in disdain at Ange moving it when it is so peacefully nesting.]

Oh, no, not me...! But somehow, I am not surprised you can use one as well as a bow, Miss Yona!

[You're so medieval.]

[The dragon looks over at Ange and ... smiles? But like. It has really sharp teeth, so that's probably not as cute as it would be normally.]

Do you want to learn?

[Ange won't get her hand chopped off, promise!

Anyway Ange... is still distracted by the dragon. It has... such sharp teeth.]

Yona wonders, briefly, if the effect from staying at the gun range is lingering.]

I asked if you want to learn to use a sword.

i. music room

[ at some point on monday, you might hear... violin? it's definitely violin. it's coming from the castle, and it's a little hesitant, like maybe the player is a bit out of practice, but.

if you head towards the music room, you'll find a small weasel wrestling with a spinosaurus in the doorway, playfully. and if you look in the music room, you'll find lup, in these glasses and this dress, playing with her eyes closed. ]

ii. town

[ lup can also be found in town, taking in the sights, a weasel settled around her shoulders.

at one point she grabs whoever she sees and hands them a turkey leg. ]

[ alex is dressed in one of these dresses at various points during the week because this is my chance and i'm taking it. she wears the simple one, or the blue one a little more than the dark one, though. ]

i. bakery

[ alex can be found outside the bakery, peering into the window at the cakes and pies on display. she seems more curious than anything. close by, sat on top of the cart selling turkey legs, a bright eyed black cat is sprawled on top of the cart, eyeing the turkey on display intently.

alex looks up sharply and points at it. ]

Don't.

[ the cat looks at the turkey legs, then back up at her. and then its form melts into that of a little blue songbird, which flutters over to her shoulder and nestles against her neck, hidden by her hair. ]

ii. hedge maze

[ alex is stood by the entrance to the hedge maze, but hasn't gone in yet. she keeps raising one hand and then the other, frowning at them, and then holding them up to the sides of the maze. ]

I can't remember if it's left or right hand on the wall and follow the path to get through...

It'd be bad to get lost in here.

[ on the ground by her feet, the cat flicks its tail but offers no advice on the topic. ]

iii. wildcard

[ the usual! any other ideas you might have, just dm me to chat and we can go for it. this is also the weekly call for pcs, as always! ]

[joining the wrestling is a mongoose? it’s just squeaking aggressively. But it seems to be having fun.]

Is someone torturing a cat in here . . . ?

[ she pauses, and then squints across the room. ]

Wow, rude? That's so not constructive criticism.

[ the weasel bites the mongoose's ears, but it's playful? probably. ]

What, you? Absolutely.

[ lup, please. she's wearing these glasses and this dress as she comes up to stand next to ange. the weasel on her shoulder jitters excitedly and squeaks at the sight of ange and her turtledove. ]

[He is wearing this during the week. Enjoy.]

TOWN

[If you're wandering around by the cart and the bakery, a very good boy bumps into your leg.

He sits afterward and holds... a turkey leg?? up to you, only... the bone end of it is clasped in his mouth to hold, sorry. His tail sweeps the ground behind him, excited and unsure. Gift?]

CASTLE

[Catch him either a) wandering around in the flower garden with the aforementioned puppers. The dog is trotting along behind him happily with its tail up. He'll wave in greeting, at least.

Or catch him b) wandering idly through the maze. This time, the dog's tail is cautiously lower, but he doesn't seem to be too bothered yet.]

Well, it wouldn't be the first time I was lost in a maze here.

[ sparkles ]

I'm sure it would not surprise you at all if I said that I do. Miss Yona, I knew that you were capable with a bow, but how are your sword skills?

[Blanca's polite, so when he gets to the music room, he doesn't interrupt her. He's extremely quiet. He leans against the door frame with one raised arm and one in his pocket, listening.

A German Shepherd moseys up beside Blanca and sits, his tail swishing slowly on the floor. He waits until Lup is pretty much done,

and then gives a boof of a bark suddenly without warning. The noise is appreciative and excited, though.]

I'm not as good with the sword as I am with the bow, but I've improved a lot since I started learning.

[so!]

I haven't been able to practice much since we got here, though. My sword didn't come with me. Would you like to spar?

town/courtyard

[bonjour. on this lovely morning, sora can be found in a new outfit wandering around and checking out the area. he has his sword with him just because it seemed thematic, and he's kind of excited to be somewhere calm and kind of magical. you can bump into him if you want, he seems distracted trying to look at everything. there's also the matter of a little friend following him around, happy as a clam and bounding along.

on the other hand, you can also find him having a seat in front of the stage with a cup of coffee and just staring with the flattest look in the universe.]

Should we be concerned the Realm's mocking us?

woods

[into the woods and followed now by a different friend, sora seems to be wandering on his own to explore. should he see you nearby though, he'll give a friendly wave! the rabbit also waves with one of its ears.]

It's nice out here, isn't it? Wanna go for a walk?

castle

[and finally because i have to lean real heavily into the aesthetic, sometimes one can find sora at the castle in a different kind of outfit, a third friend flying and hovering nearby curiously. one can find sora walking through the castle and poking around each of the rooms.

he sticks his head into the spa room and almost immediately turns around, and he doesn't spend much time in the sitting area, but people can find him in one of two places.

in the music room, you can find him poking at one of the pianos, the dragon's tail occasionally hitting other keys. sora doesn't know how to play, but he seems to be trying to hit the beginning notes of a song.

otherwise, you can find him in the meeting room studying the maps, hands on his hips and dragon friend stomping all over them.]

Stop, stop! You're messing them up. [the dragon does not give a fuck, but it appears to match sora's own annoyance.]

[ for such a big dude, blanca is very quiet. which is why when his doggo boofs lup startles and nearly drops her violin. the weasel squeaks excitedly at the sight of said dog and abandons the poor spinosaurus to zoom over and dart between the dog's legs, curling around them almost like a cat.

lup, on the other hand, just - laughs? ]

Oh, you would have a dog, wouldn't you? [ tease, tease. ]

[well well well, it seems like someone’s finally abandoned his old robes! soo-won’s new outfit rests nicely on his shoulders even if the armor itself doesn’t look reinforced like true armor. just let the aesthetic happen]

[ i. the damage control prompt - monday ]

[haha wow! saturday was weird, wasn’t it!

maybe that’s why you’ll find soo-won come monday in the bookstore, more deeply burrowed in his fort of books. even moreso than usual! what’s he reading? is that romance for dummies?

alternatively catch him in the evening where he’s quite legitimately given up, expecting no one else to wander into the bookstore. he’s laying on the ground with a book (love poetry?) now covering his face to completely hide his expression, ignoring the fact that his ears are red. has he finally encountered the one topic that overwhelms him?

the virgin soo-woo strikes again.]

[ ii. no place like home ]

[soo-won is anywhere in the castle! legitimately anywhere! whether it be the foyer, the music room, the spa area, he seems to be wandering around it with his daemon – which changes shape from a falcon to a tiger to a bunny interchangeably – looking a bit perplexed, like something isn’t clicking quite right for him.

should you find him outside, soo-won is just going to be petting the daemon perched on his shoulder. another bird makes his public mingle debut, descending from the sky to meet soo-won’s hand, with a cry. he laughs, though it still sounds slightly unsettled - ]

… it is strange, isn’t it, Gulfan? Like we’ve seen someplace like this before.

[though it seems like soo-won’s daemon, upon noticing you – yes you - is very excited for your presence. it doesn’t matter who you are, the daemon is going to be very friendly and charge straight for you. fun! soo-won only belated calls out:]

Oh – pardon!

[ she's very interested in the music room, which is why when she hears the piano, she goes right for it. she comes up behind sora and immediately ruffles his hair, her weasel squeaking and launching itself off her shoulder right into the dragon. hello, friend. ]

What are you trying to play?

[ this week, ochako will have a red panda trailing along behind her or riding along on her shoulders! ]

i. the obligatory new clothes!! starter.

[ because this girl has way too much fun dressing up... but here, so looks a little overwhelmed as she goes through the racks? the fantasy aesthetic is so much. ]

Some of these are so fancy... I'd feel bad if they got dirty or something. [ hmmmm. she pulls out a dress to frown at it. ] I guess this one might be okay...

ii. training.

[ or maybe you've found ochako out by the woods, wearing a very different outfit as she stretches or, later in the day... shadowboxes? she can't really spar on her own, but now that she's fully recovered, she's desperate to dive back into martial arts practice. she's pretty focused, but when she spots someone approaching... ]

Hey! Wanna spar?

iii. hm.

[ in the middle of town, ochako spots chiron, and finds herself heading right up to him with a bright smile. ]

Archer-san! I'm really glad you're here, you know. I'm still not sure what I would have done without you back on our adventure, but besides that... [ she pauses, smile dulling just a bit. ] I forgot my parents last week. I don't remember their faces or voices or anything they've ever said to me, just that they mattered to me a lot. It's all just... gone.

But you're still here, like always, still letting me rely on you. I know we can't stay here forever but just for now, I want us to be together for as long as we can, before we have to go our own ways again. Because, you know, when I try to remember my parents now...

I remember you, instead, like you were my family all along.
