Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up.

The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Alyssa, Hikaru, and Bucky's profiles have been removed.

Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel.

Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. On that note, if your character did not stay, please make sure to check your notifs.

Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks.

Finally, participants will find that they now have another pet to take care of. Small creatures (based on any animal of player choice, real or mythical) will be following them around all week. However, these creatures are emotionally tied to their participant, so whatever the person they are connected to is feeling, they will outwardly display it. Angry? They will be hostile. Happy? So are they! Even more, they will react to other participants based on how theirs feels about the other. Anyone their participant loves, they will also love. Hope you don't secretly hate anyone, that might be awkward.

Ah. It seems we have something in common. What was it you said, "same hat"?

[Without any hesitation, he takes her offered hand. He'll give her time to put the violin down if she hasn't, and then he tugs her closer to him so he can loop a hand around her waist.]

May I have this dance?

[hope she is ready to shuck bc he's so corny]

Same hat! [ she confirms, setting the violin down - right before he pulls her closer. she laughs, her ears going pink at the tips as she rests a hand on his chest. he's corny, but she's feeling indulgent, so she lets him.

like she doesn't enjoy this. ]

Ugh, I guess. [ she huffs, lips twitching. ] You have to lead. Be a proper gentleman.

All right, I'll lead.

[He turns them in place once, slowly, and then starts half galloping around a bit with her in tow, without, like, dragging her badly or anything.

He's still being corny, but also teasing.]

Something bouncy and jovial then?

[ she makes this startled sort of squeak sound when he picks up fast, and then she's laughing, trying to keep up. ]

You are going to drop me again and squish me under your huge, stupid feet! [ she squawks, but it's teasing in return. ]

I promise to hold onto you as tightly as possible.

[But he only gallops around for a bit more before slowly to a stop. He parts them a little so he can give her a easy twirl, and then bring her back against his front.

This time, he starts moving more sensibly and gently.]

[ stop her pink ears

but she goes, when he twirls her, and when she comes back, she has a disgustingly soft look on her face. hm. ]

Smooth moves. [ she teases, weakly. also i JUST got your shucking pun and i fucking hate you ] I shouldn't be surprised to know you can dance.

[The pink ear are still cute. ALSO, PLEASE, MY PUN.]

I know a little bit, but I'm not a ballroom dancer by any means.

[He will just confidently sashay around what space they can of the room with her, careful of her feetsies.]

What about you? Requirements for being a wizard?

[ she follows easily enough.

on the other side of the room, her weasel familiar is snuggling up against his dog, absently grooming its ears. ]

For sure, we had ballroom dancing as an elective at wizard college. [ nyeh ]

[Not sure if the weasel, or the dog is more spoiled. But the dog is content with this, only very occasionally flicking the ear out of habit even if it's in the weasel's poor face.]

I see. That explains it.

[He looks amused.]

The band here is really something. I've never heard anything quite like them.

[There is literally, like, nothing playing. He's being corny again.]

[ both are spoiled, it's fine.

as for blanca, lup just gives him a look. ]

You've never heard of them? Some hipster you are. [ don't play along ] We could go find something better.

It's a shame, isn't it?

[He doesn't stop dancing with her at all, but he does raise his brows curiously. He smiles playfully.]

I don't mind if you want to.

I heard something playing upstairs.

[ she says, looking up at him. ] This song's overplayed, anyway.

[He chuckles quietly.]

All right then. As you wish.

[Instead of just, like, taking her by the hand like any normal person would, he simply

begins to waltz the two of them out of the door and toward the stairs.]

[ that's what she was expecting, you big dope

but she giggles, and lets him take her with him, waltzing up the steps clumsily. she nearly falls a few times but it's whatever, he'll probably (?) catch her. ]

[STOP, he absolutely makes sure she doesn't do anything more than maybe stumble once or twice. She will not fall.

Though he doesn't act so ridiculous on the stairs because even if he can catch her, that's dangerous. They just have a nice dramatic walk up the stairs sideways, and he may stop on one or two to spin them around.]

[ she absolutely loves this for the record. halfway up the stairs, she glances around to make sure nobody's around, and then leans up to kiss him.

also like, her weasel is riding on his dog's head, since they have to come along too. ]

[He stops to peer curiously at her, and then he follows her gaze when she looks around.

???

Oh!

The surprise of the kiss gets him to grin slightly. He returns it by giving her a forehead kiss at the hairline. He loops an arm around her shoulders to lead her on up the stairs; he'll stop dancing them up for a few moments and behave.

The dog does not seem to mind the riding weasel at all, tail wagging as it ascends hurriedly after the two of them.]

[ she hums something soft when he kisses her back, and leans into how he's got her arm around her. she holds onto the back of his shirt as they walk, resting her head against him.

the weasel can't sit still, nosing at the dog's ears and face every so often. ]

[At the landing, he slows a little so they can look at the massive doors. Wow. He exchanges a glance with her, and then walks them both over to them.

Music can be heard from inside, yeah. He tries one of the handles, and isn't surprised to find it locked.]

Well. We've been banned from the party.

Well, that's very rude! [ she just kicks the door, and then grumbles.

a pause, and then she turns back to him and takes his hands. ] Well. We can have our own party out here, then.

[Lup, don't kick the door. What the heck.]

It'd be a much better party, I think.

[He pulls her toward him by the hands, putting hers around his middle.]

[ she laughs, fiddling with his dumb outfit once her hands are around his middle. ]

Couple of, uh - of cool clowns, out here, having our own party! That's not lame at all. [ but... there is music, and she is swaying back and forth gently to it. ]

It's considerably less lame in the presence of a dazzling ruby.

[He's just being a ham.

He wraps both of his arms around her shoulders and sways along to the music with her.]

Is this your ploy to get me to massage your feet in the spa once we're finished dancing?

It is now. [ she says, immediately, grinning up at him.

her ears are pink, again. dazzling ruby, who says that. she just ignores it! how does she say anything in response to that without sounding like a big lame-o? ]

I want to paint your nails, too. You're not getting away without black nail polish.

[There isn't anything better than seeing the pink ears, okay.

Both brows rise, but he doesn't seem put off by the notion. He looks more amused than anything.]

All right. You think black nails would suit someone like me?
