WEEK FIVE: MINGLE

WEEK FIVE: MINGLE (29 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Alyssa, Hikaru, and Bucky's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. On that note, if your character did not stay, please make sure to check your notifs. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Finally, participants will find that they now have another pet to take care of. Small creatures (based on any animal of player choice, real or mythical) will be following them around all week. However, these creatures are emotionally tied to their participant, so whatever the person they are connected to is feeling, they will outwardly display it. Angry? They will be hostile. Happy? So are they! Even more, they will react to other participants based on how theirs feels about the other. Anyone their participant loves, they will also love. Hope you don't secretly hate anyone, that might be awkward.

[ The mice make sounds that sound like an affirmative? Jeanne's own daemon mouse joins them, even!

[ Jeanne is just as cheerful as Hilda, and she is taking out a tape measure.

but i can say that he's probably broader than expected given that he normally wears flowing robes whenever he can..... twink-passing! and he looks embarrassed once jeanne is actually coming close to him

[ once she has dressed the mouse and it approves with a happy squeak before running off, she goes to help jeanne. 'help.' ]

That's great, because we have lots of them.

[ actually, they only have patterns. a mouse brings this next, which she drapes over his shoulder. ]

[ Her arms are just going around him with the tape? Three times.

Twink-passing....! Sure, whatever those measurements are, Jeanne's got them. ]

[ the joke is that these patterns don't suit anyone at all. especially once they start combining different pieces of fabric; hilda winds one of the earlier swathes around won's chest, not noticing how the mice suddenly go nervously still. ]

...Do you wear this sort of thing normally?

[ she sounds a little judgey. ]

[ Hilda is so valid. Jeanne has no idea what's nostalgic about tiger stripes, but

She is sensitive to the needs of mice, so she watches the tiger closely and is only barely paying attention to the conversation. ]

[the tiger is completed distracted once jeanne is watching it and then instead goes bounding up to her for attention. mice saved once more.]

Ah, no - but we did put tiger pelts on horses once.

[IT'S THE LITERAL TIGER STRIPES THAT SEEMS NOSTALGIC]

[ thank you for saving our mice friends, jeanne. she is blind to their needs and instead has arranged a few pieces of fabric and is now pinning them into place into what is basically the most offensive muumuu ever. it's fine. ]

I can't really see you going around wearing tiger fur anyway—oh, and try not to move or you'll prick yourself.

[ the mice are also bounding up to jeanne for her affection. ]

But she is affectionate and attentive to every animal that wants her attention. ]
