WEEK FIVE: MINGLE

WEEK FIVE: MINGLE (29 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Alyssa, Hikaru, and Bucky's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. On that note, if your character did not stay, please make sure to check your notifs. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Finally, participants will find that they now have another pet to take care of. Small creatures (based on any animal of player choice, real or mythical) will be following them around all week. However, these creatures are emotionally tied to their participant, so whatever the person they are connected to is feeling, they will outwardly display it. Angry? They will be hostile. Happy? So are they! Even more, they will react to other participants based on how theirs feels about the other. Anyone their participant loves, they will also love. Hope you don't secretly hate anyone, that might be awkward.

No, but he will try to gently take the knife from her hand and put it down by them so he can hold that hand, and then when the other one is finished with her face,

he'll hold the messy left one unless it's painful. Then he won't.]

I'm going to try to stop the bleeding. It might hurt. I need you to stay awake. Don't go to sleep.

My -- [ she says, a little panicky, eyes opening. ] -- knife, don't -- oh.

[ hey what's up blanca. she stares up at him, out of focus. she barely winces when he takes her messy left hand, which is missing the pointer finger. ] I earned that knife.

It's still yours. I won't let anyone take it. Instead of a lollipop, I'll let you hold it when I'm finished.

[Well, let's start with the fucking hand first then. He'll try to bandage that just in case!!!

WHY IS SHE SUCH A MESS? He'll try to pack some bandages together before tying the rest to make it thicker and to try to get the blood to stop.]

[Well, he didn't want her to pass out in case she had a concussion, or something worse, but

this is okay because he's going to have to stitch some of them. So congratulations, Lup! When you wake up in a while, you'll have stitches!]

[He only looks up for a quick glance, then back down at Lup, and then nods. Quickly.]

She’s fine, right? She’s gonna be fine. She’s breathing. So, I’m fine. It’s all fine. I’m saying fine too much. Fuck.

[He would reach out to touch, but his hands are a mess, so instead he gives Taako a small bump with his elbow.]

She'll be fine.

[Just toying with Lup’s hair at this point, brow knit tightly.]

All this bullshit is almost over anyway.

It is. Just keep talking to her for me. I'm going to bandage her, but...

[He sighs when he glances over her.]

I need to stitch some.

[He doesn’t seem grossed out or anything, just nodding.]

Seen worse, you know. We both almost got bitten in half on Shark world once.
