WEEK SIX: MINGLE

WEEK SIX: MINGLE (25 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha! Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired.

[he's not climbing up there to go check on you?

the furrow of his brow isn't visible behind his mask, but the frown is. there also seems to be a faint blue glow showing through his clothes, somewhere around the midsection? huh.]

[robopriest]

[Hansa swings his legs over the branch, but doesn't go down just yet. He glances at the glow in the other's torso, and gestures at him.]

...Why are you glowing?

[arkitect]

...I do not know.

[also it sure is lucky that he's a resilient person AND the pain is dulled down, because it looks like the fabric around the glowy area is kind of damp. but then he's wearing black, so what that actually is will be A Mystery.

he glances down to it, then shakes his head.]

I suppose where exactly it came from is of less import than it being here now.

[robopriest]

[He suddenly jumps down without any warning right smack dab in front of Emet, his look alarmed.]

It is...it isn't the same one...is it?

[He reaches his hands out as if to grab hold of him- and then draws them back and glances down at the ground, a little self-conscious.]

[arkitect]

--the same one as what, exactly?

[he doesn't flinch or step back when hansa jumps down, somewhat confused at the sudden alarm, but when he draws his hands back like that-- hm.

that certainly doesn't seem quite right. he just exhales a breath and reaches out to take hold of one of hansa's wrists, loosely.]

[robopriest]

[The grip to his wrist surprises him, and the words even more so- he cringes, slightly, his eyes not meeting Emet's gaze. He gives the appearance of a skittish animal that's been cornered.]

[He looks away, but he doesn't pull away, either. His voice is quiet.]

...I'm sorry. I just...overreacted. [All his emotions feel so much more raw, unrestrained, just like the rest of him.] You should have that looked at. Please.

[arkitect]

...Hansa. I am not scolding you.

[a little softer in tone, there. he doesn't let go, but the hold is loose enough that hansa can pull away if he decides to.]

It will be all right-- it does not pain me. Only creates something of a mess.

[robopriest]

...I know you aren't.

[That's just logical. But its like every inch of him is tense, ready to go off like a firecracker. But this is Emet-Selch, right? He can relax. He isn't going to be harmed. Nobody is going to point fingers at him and call him a monster, or anything like that.]

[He sighs, finally turning his head to meet the other's gaze.]

It doesn't hurt? [How strange.] But...all that blood...

[arkitect]

It is strange, I know, but- I suppose it could be worse, in that case.

[he frowns as he glances down, though. he's. leaking blood at this point.]

Though not by much. I may have to give up on keeping these clothes washed, at this rate.

[robopriest]

Hmm. Maybe you could get a blanket and just...

[He makes a pushing motion.]

...................I think it would just fall out, though.

[arkitect]

I have already done that with towels. Any sort of dressing needs to be changed far too often.

[he sounds exasperated.]

[robopriest]

I guess that idea's out. Maybe we just need to stitch it...

[Though a wound like that..............even he looks dubious.]

[arkitect]

...I did consider that, but it is too wide.

[robopriest]

Well, at least, stitch the edges. Like, you can't close the hole. But if you close the wounds around it...

[He doesn't know. He's not a doctor.]

Anyways, we'll need to get more stuff for the bleeding.
