WEEK SIX: MINGLE (25 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha! Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired.

This is not going to get them anywhere, the llama realizes. it's gotta be more proactive. so it will stand and try to look for a book of some sort, anything that might give her a hint?

the llama can read nearly everything expect for one book that is nothing but gibberish to it the longer it stares, but maybe that's a good thing today.

it bites into a book and then will walk back over, dropping it on Alex's lap. It will be a book about Greek mythology, even if the llama doesn't realize this.]

I-- [ hold on hold on hold on, fuck. she's digging out her phs and flicking through it like a woman on a mission looking for something. she saw frog-gate last week. her boyfriend literally got turned into a frog a few weeks ago. wake up alex. ]

Which means there's a pause as he looks at that profile, but you know what he remembers? Saying that specific quote.

Anywhere there's a tired llama sound as he drops back down to the ground, his head resting on the floor. Alex knows. Chiron can rest for a few seconds, agitated]

[ hold up, she's sliding off her chair to sit next to him. there there. ]

... Did you get cursed?

[ heck. how long do these things last? ]

[Truthfully, he has no idea, and llamas cannot shrug their shoulders no matter how hard he tries.

So there's just a noncommittal braying noise, though he'll press himself against her side when she's on the floor. At least he is very soft.]

[ there there, chiron. you're really outdoing everyone for shittest couple of weeks ever, huh? ]

I'll take that as a maybe.

[Absolutely a "maybe", most likely veering towards a "yes" if he's to be honest.

But llamas can't talk so Chiron will just have to manage without verbal language for a while. He will instead make another gesture at the book Alex had had in her hand -- the one on sign language.

His hope is now that she knows who he is, she can give him a more proper explanation.]

[ she picks up the book again, turning it over in her hands. ]

I forgot how to speak it, last week. I didn't really notice, but... it was like having a little hole in my memory, and now it's refilled. I just thought I should make sure I wasn't missing anything.
