WEEK SIX: MINGLE

WEEK SIX: MINGLE (25 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha! Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired.

But the next area they run into is full of. I need a picture for this one. These fucking things you have to squeeze through. They're moving slightly, because the person is already nyooming through them. ]

Instead of acknowledging that, Alphinaud is giving chase. ]

You there! Pray halt, we mean you no har—!!

[ Sometimes you're just running at breakneck speed and don't expect whatever the fuck those are in the way, so he just goes bouncing off in the middle of his shouting... and falls back. oops. ]

While Alphi dies, and Alex is in the background somewhere, Ochako abandons them all to give chase! She enters a room full of a bunch of balloons. Who designed this funhouse. There are so many balloons and if you touch them, they will pop. ]

Eurgh...

[ So anyway, Alphinaud is back here reassuring Alex, who is definitely still around, that he's fine, and regaining his bearings and whatnot!!

Time to catch up... How you doin' Ochako. ]

[infreefall]

[ ochako ain't afraid of no balloons! she's just charging right through there, as fast as it takes to catch up to this runaway funhouse attendee! at least the chorus of popping balloons should direct alphi (and alex, who is definitely still here) where to go. ]

[retellers]

[ The sound of annoying popping should be enough to direct him, yes.

Up ahead, the figure is climbing up a rope ladder! It's leading through one of those like, small tunnel things? You ever been to a McDonald's playground? You know, the tunnel things?? What are they called. anyway the ladder leads into one of those. They're going to have to crawl. ]

The popping is definitely enough; after squeezing through more annoying ... bouncy pole thingies... Alphinaud runs to catch up, following the noise. Eventually he does, except once he reaches the rope ladder, he is totally out of breath, bent over at the knees. He is not meant for this. ]

Why... are they running so much...

[ wheeze ]

[ ochako is just. waiting at the rope ladder. glaring up at it like it alone is the source of all their problems. ]

I don't know. You guys are way too cute to run from. [ she gestures at the rope ladder. ] ...You have to go first.

[ she is wearing a dress. ]

[retellers]

[ They hear the distant wheezing of someone going through McDonald's playground tunnels. ]

[arcsplainist]

[ Don't mind Alphinaud's utterly puzzled look. Why! Do you keep saying these things!

Thankfully, he also catches on pretty quick, so through his panting: ]

It sounds like they aren't doing much better than you.

[ They can hear a distant thunk! and then what can only be the sound of a large body falling down a slide, very poorly, and hitting the edges of it very hard. ]

[ He reaches the slide! And just looks down it, giving enough room for Ochako to look as well if she wishes. What's down there anyway, a ballpit? ]

[ way to ruin the funhouse, rando! anyway i guess she'll go down the slide too once it sounds like alphi's out of the way. ]

[ A little ahead, they will see a guy, just... on the ground. He's huddling in a corner, hiding from them, except he is still in plain view. ]
