Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up.

The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed.

Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel.

Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated.

Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks.

Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha!

Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired.

I was something I can't say because it's copyrighted, but anyway, they teach you to prepare for everything. Tying knots, team management, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, the importance of physical fitness, first aid, whacking moles...

[ Hua Cheng pulls a random lever, and I support him. A song begins blaring from the rollercoaster train. The children stop screaming for a moment to listen. ]

[ xie lian also stops yelling when the song starts blaring. it gives him enough time to pull the popcorn hat off of his head and ...a normal person would throw it off of their head when flying around on a roller coaster, but he shoves it in his sleeve instead.

...well it.. silenced the children? this gives him some time to make sure none of these children who aren't actually real children are injured, and figure out how close he is to being able to jump off again with a child in his arms. on the roller coaster goes. for a moment, they are stealing through the night's uncertainties.

[ ... well at least the screaming has stopped. And, anyways, none of these levers are labeled? None of the buttons are labeled? So he's going to just keep track of what ones he's pulled and pressed and move on to the next lever, while Rufus smashes, waiting to make sure the car isn't upside-down or something. Just in case. ]

Ah, yes. Whacking moles. Very important.

[Wordlessly, Rufus continues to bonk the moles. Pull the lever, Hua Cheng.]

[ Ding ding ding. Bonk bonk bonk. The high worker throws a piece of candy at Rufus, as a reward for whacking all these moles.

The children are still held by their safety restraints, or whatever the fuck they're called. It's 10 PM, my vocabulary has left me. So Xie Lian might have some difficulty absconding with one, but hey, they all look uninjured. A funnel cake comes flying by and hits him.

Not a single thing is labelled, so Hua Cheng can continue his button-pressing/lever-pulling adventure without fear or guilt (?). The next lever causes music to start blaring at the station, awkwardly clashing with the train's music as it nyooms by and away. ]

San Lang - [ as they come around the corner!! ] Any luck? I ne--

[ oh, there's more flying food. instead of ducking this time he

just opens his mouth for the funnel cake, honestly. like it's a frisbee. ] MMft.

[ whoosh. away we go. we're solving nothing today! ]

Nothing yet, gege. [ There's a - non-reaction, as he catches probably the tail end of Xie Lian's momf. Since. Hi gege, bye gege.

But this song is annoying. (Rude this is Rufus' new theme song, fafa.) He's going to push the lever back up and press a different button now. ]

[Ignoring the song (there is no money in his pocket), Rufus catches the candy with the same hand holding the weed and turns around to face the high worker.]

Aren't you going to work?

[ The song stops, since Hua CHeng reversed the lever. As for the different button... well, good news! The train is no longer speeding like crazy. The bad news is that it sprouts wings and begins to fly away.

The worker glances at Rufus. ]

I am totally working. I get paid, like, minimum wage. I'm doing the appropriate amount of work for that. Also you shoved my coworker to the ground, dude.

Ah.

[ hm

that's concerning! concerning enough he drops this funnel cake frisbee and releases ruoye, this poor overworked and currently nerfed piece of fabric, to make a desperate grab at the track with it instead, stretching one arm out as far as he can to grab at literally anything he can anchored to the track too. so help him god (he is god) he will not let this car of not real children go flying away forever. ]

[ Rufus can deal with the high, underpaid employee beyond that, he's very concerned about getting the car back on the tracks. ]

[ Xie Lian's efforts slow the train's ascent, but it's still very much trying to fly away.

Hua Cheng's button pressing does nothing. Apparently, it does not cancel itself. ]

[ They point to their napping coworker. Or maybe they're just unconscious now after Rufus shoved them. ]

[ While he hits another button and a lever to see if either counters the flight thing. ]

[ to Rufus, who seems to be busy with.... moles: ]

yuuri, tugging the sleeping worker off of the machine and crushing a snowcone to the back of their head in lieu of having a bucket of water to dump or a cold shower or something.

what? cold water is how you wake people up suddenly, right? (no). please do not actually do this in real life, but. whackamole can come after. ]

[He is now ignoring the moles unless they do something drastic. Hopefully, the napping worker isn't high like their coworker. Rufus straightens and watches Homura's remedy at work.]

[ The children on the rollercoaster look at each other. ]

Dunno, a ride in the sky sounds fun? But I guess we should get off before you slip and plummet to your death, or something.

[ They sadly get out of their restraints and climb down Xie Lian's back and onto the tracks. Yay, Xie Lian rescued the children—

And just in time, because Hua Cheng's lever pulling and button pressing accomplishes him: the station starts playing something that definitely isn't copyrighted, and the train blasts off, with Xie Lian still holding onto the end. Enjoy your ride through the sky, Xie Lian!

The sleeping worker jolts up. ]

THE DONKEYS—uh, what. Wait, who the hell are all of you? Andy, stop letting strange fucks back here just so that you don't have to deal with the moles.

[ One of the moles starts climbing up Rufus's leg to see if he has anything in his pockets. ]

[ he safely saved the kids! he's lifting his head to smile at one of them as the last one hops off his back, and then the rollercoaster suddenly starts playing weird music and starts moving very fast. xie lian yelps, ruoye loosens, and for a minute it seems like he's gonna blast off againnnn (ding)!

....however, despite the fact that he occasionally looks like he has no brain cells, xie lian does let go. he starts falling, does a flip to slow his momentum, and lands on his feet at the roller coaster control station.

he puts both of his arms up as he sticks the landing and chirps - ] Thank you, thank you! I would like to hear the sound of your applause, but the sound of dimes would be even more appealing!

[ and then does a little fist to hand bow!

... wait. ]

Ah, thank you, Yuuri.

[ How nice. She's so dependable. And Rufus has a mole on his leg? But Hua Cheng is distracted by the fact there's weird music playing again - at least the kids are getting down, which means gege no longer has an objective to deal with so he'll come back now, please - but then.

He snorts at the busker habit. ] Well done, gege.

[ she claps politely. what? even she can appreciate good showmanship when appropriate. all the world a stage, etc etc.

anyway is this mole's name secretly rocket. ]

Think nothing of it. Although, the food stalls seemed to be in somewhat of a state of chaos on the way here...

[Rufus bonks the mole on his leg. He's wearing swim trunks. There's nothing to finagle but his PHS.]

You're awake. The ride lost control while you were sleeping.

[ The moles throw dimes in Xie Lian's honour, but since they're all the way down there in the station, the dimes just clatter to the floor uselessly. Maybe Hua Cheng can pick them up for Xie Lian.

Strangely, if they wait, none of the children seem to make it down the tracks...? But there sure are donkeys now, climbing down and wandering around now. Wow, wonder where they came from. The children are mysteriously missing.

The high worker stares at the donkeys for a moment, looks at where the train used to be, and then sighs. ]

Well, I guess we're out of service. I'm going to take a nap.

[ And then they flop onto the cot and go to sleep. Zzzzzzz.

The previously sleeping worker nods. ]

It does that, sometimes. Anyway, I think I'm out of a job now, and like, I'm seriously tired of these moles, so I'm outta here.

[ They give Rufus an understanding pat on the shoulder, before leaving. In the distance, the blasting train probably crashes into something and causes an explosion, but it's fine. ]

i mean. xie lian doesn't get much time to be embarrassed by his acting stunt, because there are. donkeys instead of children.

[ Oh, nice. Hua Cheng does collect the dimes, and gives Rufus a cut because - why not? Monetary incentive, and he pats Homura on the head as he exits the booth to go and wait for Xie Lian to get off the track. ]

I have no idea, gege, but I have dimes for you. [ cheekily ] Perhaps you should get down now, before you bleed all over yourself even more..? Someone else can deal with the donkeys.
