WEEK SIX: MINGLE (25 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha! Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired.

[this is his downfall because guns require two hands but he'll make it work! he's balancing ice cream in his hand while keeping another bar in his mouth and picking up the gun, aiming for a target. he hits it!

... Sure. Maybe if I hit it off centre it'll knock it over anyway? [ is that the trick to this?

she puts her popcorn down on the counter, picks up the gun and...

well. she hits the target. but it's definitely off centre by a decent amount. regardless -- the target does not budge. ]

[he squints at the targets dubiously.]

That should've done something. ...maybe if we both shoot at the same one?

[chanteuser]

[ she looks at the target. and then at her gun. and then at the target again. ]

I... we can try?

[ she makes no guarantees, sora. ] Which one are we aiming for?

[reconnective]

Um...[give him a second to watch targets float past. this is absolutely not going to work but he is determined.] The big one with the red rings on it? That should be easy enough.

[chanteuser]

I-- okay? I'll do my best.

[ she... waits for sora's cue and then she'll fire. RNG will tell me if she manages it. ]

[reconnective]

Okay. On the count of three. One...two...three! [and they can both fire!!! he hits the target as it bounces off a little, but it'll depend if alex's helps knock it over.]

[chanteuser]

[ rng says she hits it against all odds and---!!!!


well it's rigged to heck isn't it? rip their attempts. ]

...it must be broken. We should try something else. [cheap game!!!]

[chanteuser]

We could just try a ride and come back to these later?

[reconnective]

Honestly? That sounds like a better idea. [dumb game. he puts down the gun and works on his second ice cream bar.]

Ferris wheel maybe? Or maybe one of those ones that spins.

It's like these dome-shaped things and you can spin them around as the track spins I think. [very helpful, sora.] We control most of the spinning.

[chanteuser]

[ the controlling the spinning part is good. ]

Cool. It should be just up ahead. We can see how it looks and take it for a spin!

[sora is used to spinning but he will be kind and not make her extremely dizzy.]

[chanteuser]

Okay. I have no idea what they look like, so... point it out to me when you see it?

[reconnective]

Yeah, for sure. [walking, walking...but he's still going at a decent pace to be able to look around. eventually though he points out to a ride on a platform, dome-shaped cars on their own tracks that spin as the main platform spins.]

That one. That's the one we should try out.

[chanteuser]

[ it... doesn't look as bad as she was thinking it might. that's a good start. ]

So you just pick a car and hop in, then. Just... pick your favourite colours or something?

[reconnective]

[he gestures for her to follow him to a blue car and slides onto the seat, scooting to one edge so alex has room.]

See? There's these tracks and we can kind of control this thing so it doesn't spin too much while the rest of the platform moves. It'll be fine.

[chanteuser]

Alright. Let's take it for a spin, literally.

[ she follows him in and shuffles along the seat, resting her hands on the mechanism for spinning it and giving it a test spin.

wheeeeee. ]

[reconnective]

[they spin!! slowly, mostly, because the ride isn't moving yet and he laughs even when he reaches forward to grab the spinning mechanism too.]
