WEEK SIX: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around, but at this point, everyone should realize what has happened. Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your seventh investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). [ The dolphin does not have anything else, but it seems to be expecting sora to throw the gun back. play? play? it rolls on its back to float belly up for two seconds. pet its tummy. "do dolphins do that" they do if i say so, i made it fire a gun.

anyway, the gun seems to look like the ones found in the wild west, though it's got a few scratches on it. anyway, since he ate shit and usagi just completely missed the bullet, they can notice there seems to be some blood a little further from where they are, still near the edge of the water.

but play with the dolphin first. dolphin tax. ]

[ the blood gets noted but that's a later them problem because despite giving them both heart attacks, the dolphin is the most valid animal here right now? clearly, it's time to take a five minute break. ]

[ The dolphin got its pat and is now just making excited dolphin noises because it wants play. play? play? it will take the gun back if no play.

Anyway, the blood seems to go from the sand near the water towards the boardwalk. But you can see that from here, play with the dolphin instead. ]

[ she's cooing. what a good dolphin buddy. ]

[ she does look up at his question however and turns back to the blood trail, making a face. why this. ]

[ usa absolutely doesn't want to go investigate that on her own so she'll just hang out here until Dolphin-san is satisfied. ]

[the gun goes into his pocket where it's safe but he holds up the rock. also mods ignoring my bullets question :pensive:

anyway they can play with the dolphin! maybe the dolphin has more clues? or maybe the dolphin's just better than a murder.]

[ oh there's two bullets left and the gun looks a little dinged up i just fully missed the question. im smart. it's week 6 gang expect nothing of me.

anyway the dolphin goes to fetch the rock!!! it even manages to come back with the same rock, which is impressive because sora sure did throw a rock in the ocean. it will give it to usagi? its her turn now. ]

[ it sure is...! she's clapping for dolphin-san for finding the same exact rock in an ocean full of stuff ]

[ she will do her best to throw it out into the open waters. fetch boy! ]

Nice! [he claps for the dolphin! who's a good boy? you are! you are!!! he pats the dolphin's nose before it takes off though.

also thank you for my answer, they're gonna wait for this dolphin to come back with the same damn rock.]

[ the dolphin gets back and even does the whole jump out of the water to land near them trick before giving them the rock. it deserves so many fishies but i guess it's just a very lonely dolphin instead.

[happy dolphin noises] intensify ]

[ at least usagi can give it all the pats and tum rubs she can manage while giving sora the rock for round three? are we going for more?? ]

We should dolphinitely keep going...[he sounds so reluctant. can they see how far the blood goes from here? it's just heading for the boardwalk, right?] But we can probably ask if he's okay with waiting for us for a bit?

[ It's heading for the boardwalk, yes! It's... a blood trail. Booooo. Not a big one, but one nonetheless. More importantly, wow, look at that dolphin nodding like it understands english before going to get the rock. he will wait for them here. they better come back it did not fetch a rock to not get gratification :/ ] ]

[ oh they understand .... they’re getting a treat as soon as she can find one. maybe they can find a bucket of fishies somewhere....? ]

I think dolphin-san will wait for us to return....

[ which means it’s time to reluctantly shuffle their way to the blood. any dying message spelled out?? ]

[and so they follow this trail. it's not large but are there any footprints or anything with it? how far does it go? is it like drips like someone was walking or a drag mark sort of thing?]

[ the dolphin will stay here waiting. the blood seems more like steady dripping of someone walking, and while there's no footprints around it, there is some near the edge of the sand and the board walk. Well. Footprints might be too big a word. There's some froggy imprints in the very edge of the sand, and then... hooves? ]

[ whatever. the hoof prints are the more important part here and she’s already turning pale again ]

[ I had to fuck with you, but they don't look like horse hooves. I don't know that either Usagi or Sora are familiar with different type of hoof marks, though, so. No telling what exactly, but it's very different from a horse one.

There's no stray bullet on the beach! Or any other clue for this beach team. ]
