WEEK SIX: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around, but at this point, everyone should realize what has happened. Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your seventh investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). Alex will see something resting up on a tree branch. ]

[ clementine gets a comparison of the footprint to her own feet? bigger or smaller? ]

[ Alex will have to climb up the tree to find out. :)

It's hard to say, because the footprints looks more like hooves. There's some other sort of print mixed in there as well, but she won't be able to tell what it is. ]

[ good thing this stupid beach outfit has sneakers. she's... just gonna set down those flowers she's holding and then... climb the tree.

it's probably a slow and painful process for everyone involved but she's filled with determination ]

[ Alex finds gun parts (main spring and trigger spring)!

The footprints lead further into the forest. ]

[ alex obtained parts of a gun. lovely. hang on she's gonna get back down and pick up the flowers again.

and then she just stops when she sees the hoofprints and stares for a moment. ]

... Are we following them?

... I think we'd betta.

[ clementine looks. deeply annoyed to be speaking like this when alex is clearly upset, but sure. lets follow some hoofprints. ]

[ It leads them mid-deep into the forest. Around where the trail ends, they find a wooden lyre, leaning against a tree trunk. ]

[chanteuser]

[ ... ]

... You stupid--

[ sorry clem she's ignoring you and just going straight for that lyre. she stops just before she gets to it, rubbing furiously at her eyes before crouching down next to it, as carefully as she can.

is there anything off about it? or has it just been left here? ]

[ uhhh clem stands around awkwardly.

[ It just looks like it's been left here! Nothing else out of place around here. ]

it's hers now. she's got her hands full with the flowers, the lyre and the gun parts but she's managing. ]

... Do we need to keep looking around?

[ there's the river too, what if she just wanders in that direction, hm? ]

[ clem doesn't want to make a stupid pun, so she won't risk talking. she only shrugs in response.

but is going to go check out the river, yes. ]

[ Down by the river, they find another gun part (the grip). There also seems to be something in the water? ]

[ oh i'm not a fan of that. what's in the water mods, she gonna get closer... ]

[ well it's probably not a dolphin with a gun, at least.

clementine will... go straight into the water to see what that is and retrieve it. alex has her hands full, after all. ]

[ Clem finds another gun part (the frame)! Wow, these are just everywhere. ]

[ who was this determined to dismantle a gun what the heck ]

Clem, do you think you can put these pieces back together tomorrow? It... looks like someone was trying to hide something, for sure.

[stillnot]

[ when clem gets back from the water she holds out her hand to take the other gun pieces from alex. ]

I can try.

[ i couldn't think of a pun. she escapes her curse for a sentence. ]

[ I'm going to be nice and tell you there's nothing left for them to find. Enjoy your gun parts and lyre! ]

[ breaks the lyre over her knee because i'm mad at marie for being given death. AGAIN.
