WEEK SIX: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around, but at this point, everyone should realize what has happened. Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your seventh investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). He takes a deep breath, before diving down after the body. He's going to reopen something and he knows it, and gege will scold him, nevermind the fact his eye is an open wound under his eyepatch. It's fine. They're both having a fun time.

[ Once they're underwater, it's pretty obvious who the body belongs to. It's a very distinctive shape.

Chiron is dead. Also, he apparently weighs, like, 2000 pounds? So have fun with that? ]

i'm... i'm not sure how they're getting him out of here but she - has a very intense moment of recoil. she has to swim up to the surface and just. tread water for a second.

[ He doesn't stop Lup as she goes back up to tread water, staring at Chiron's body and trying to - think, fast. They can't lose this body, for more reasons than just evidence. But he does come to a decision, swimming back up to Lup. ]

Ru. [ Hua Cheng grips her arm, treading with her. ] Get ready. We're gonna try a hat-trick. Grab onto whoever comes and whatever part of me you can reach, aight?

[ And, right before he takes a deep breath to dive back down to try and grab any part of Chiron: ] Swan! Goat!

[ sploosh, back down he goes, because he's not going to make their NPCs dive down here to get a body???? #growth ]

[ I'm being lazy and embedding icons so that I don't have to switch journals. Suddenly, the water parts away from where they are, like Moses parting the river before it swirls around them, essentially leaving a dry radius surrounding them. Oh, and Goat is here now. Looks like this is his doing. Unfortunately, he's also part of the one-arm club, since his left arm looks like it's missing, but it's fine. He looks down at them for a moment—and then they'll both find themselves back on the beach shore, along with Goat. AND CHIRON'S BODY, I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD SPECIFY THAT IF IT WASN'T OBVIOUS ]

she does what hua cheng says, holding onto his arm, and when they're on the beach shore, she just sits down next to chiron's body, completely soaked. and just... holds his hand for a bit. it's fine, she's fine. ]

[ if there's anything else on this beach she isn't going to look for now. she will mutter a thanks to goat, though. ]

[ Glad that paid off! Glad I knew this wasn't a Zia-run thread. Hua Cheng spits out a little water as they sit there, because he's going to join Lup, in armless solidarity with Goat. He reaches his leg out to bump into him in thanks for coming and getting them and the body out, at least.

And then he just squeezes Lup's other hand tightly, leaning against her as they. Sit. He'll look to see if they can spot anything else, though, at a glance. There's five minutes left this is just our wrapup, probably. ]

[ There doesn't seem to be anything else on this area of the beach! Elsewhere, Sora and Usagi played with a gun dolphin, but anyway. Goat looks sad as he glances down at Chiron's body, before he turns to Lup and Hua Cheng. ] ... I can transport the body, once you are ready. [ Sometimes you have only one arm but you still have super strength and spatial manipulation, it's fine. ]
