WEEK SIX: TRIAL (22 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: Please go to the Emporium at 12. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Wolf speaks. "Nine hours. For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Thank you, Alphinaud. I suspect we'll need to take a closer look at everything you two found. That there was a snake that was found does strike me as odd. There was easy access to guns a couple weeks ago, however, so I don't know how easy it will pinpoint someone with that.

The only one I know who keeps a snake as a friend is Zuko, and he told me had both with him.

I know there are items that can turn others into animals, but... I won't jump to conclusions so soon.

I know that when I picked up mine towards the end of that week, just about everything else had already been cleaned out. I wouldn't doubt that a decent number of us might have had them in their possession.

I might, though if the calibers are relatively close to each other there wouldn't really be enough of a difference for me to tell...

What is it that you'd want for me to look for, specifically?

Hmm, would you be able to guess distance and angle? Or maybe at least if it was an older or more modern kind of gun, so that we'd know what bullets or weapon to look for.

I know we don't have the tools here to check for rifling marks or anything specific. [not his specialty, he says] So we'll have to rely on your experience. [a small bow of his head]

Possibly, to distance and angle. It seems we had a lot of crossing paths last night, so... I can see the merit in trying to tie specific weapons to each kill.

Even if we could check for rifling marks, or the ones more unique per gun, if the weapon is old enough they might not have them in the first place. And given the rough timeframe of the area most of us probably picked these up from...

Let's get everything together, if we can. It sounds like we might have to try re-assembling some of it. I don't really know firearms, but I can probably help with that.

It is an effective tactic. Depending on the animal, if you would like to make it quick, that is one way to go about it.
