WEEK SIX: TRIAL

WEEK SIX: TRIAL
(22 remain)

Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating:
Please go to the Emporium at 12.

Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them.

Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Wolf speaks.

"Nine hours. You know what to do."

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the seventh trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

If you have any questions at any time, please let us know by pinging us on Discord!

It might, actually. It'd explain why it's mostly on his right side. I don't know, I'm not a rocket scientist.

[ except for how you are but that's fine

anyway, definite misery vibes!! she doesn't reach out to touch or anything but there's a little nod of horrible solidarity. ]

With... so many people mentioning the ferris wheel being gone, and then collapsed somewhere, I just... wondered.

[ this is terrible. dammit marie. ]

From the way you described him it sounds like he... drowned... more than anything.

... Yeah.

I'm sure. He probably, um. Was on the ferris wheel, and then hit the water hard, and drowned because he couldn't... swim, then.

[ he's... heavy enough as it is, without having to deal with broken bones and not being able to pull himself to shore. ]

...

So. Now we need the why. [ ... and the who, but with everything they know right now the who part seems so dangerous. ]

A fall from around 50-100 feet could have that effect, but...where could he have fallen from? The Ferris wheel was probably the only thing tall enough, but I don't know if Mister Chiron would have got on it.

[no body no face so no one can see his feels haha..he instead finds distraction in discussing the physics of the problem]

With the breaks being on one side of his body, it sounds like hitting the water might've done it. Like Ruby said.

[ ... ]

... It's the only thing tall enough. So... maybe we just have to figure out how or why he would've been on it. We probably need to check the boardwalk again.

I don't know either, but uh. He kept forgetting he was a horse, and I know he was trying to do it earlier this week, so. He might've just brute forced getting on it.

...he was capable of being very stubborn, in that way.
