WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE

WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

[ Here all five of them are, on what looks to be a meteorite in the middle of space. Don't question these things.

Sephiroth is here! And, unfortunately, this time, he has his ridiculously long looking sword. Fortunately, he does not get to talk, because Red starts you guys off with a lunge tackle at him.

Also, more fortunately, loading up the belt was the goddamn cheat code, so Red isn't the only one showing up to aid them! There's Barret coming in to shoot, Aerith showing up and casting spells and Tifa punching very fast LOOK IM WRITING THESE REAL QUICK the point is, its 8 on 1 now go wild kids ]

[Summons!!!!!!! Taako is running around with his belt. He has no weapons except his little lisa frank knife so. Mostly just concentrated on staying the fuck out of the way. That’s the wizard code. Stand near the back and don’t get hit.]

with her fire orb, and her shotgun. she just blasts the absolute shit out of sephiroth with her orb. die, binch.

she's probably laughing while she does it, actually. ]

[you know who's used to boss battles? this binch. you know who's fought sephiroth before? also this binch. that is to say sora's immediately dodging other people's attacks as he dives in with his sword, immediately swinging to beat the shit out of sephiroth with his sword as best as he can.]

[ clementine is used to shooting people but they don't usually look like fucking sephiroth and have a sword a mile long and also there aren't usually people she doesn't want to shoot in the way

but it's fine! she manages to not shoot any allies!

it's very weird being a normie in a jrpg fight. ]

[ All of these attacks do damage, but this is a jrpg boss battle and so Sephiroth is not defeated even with eight people going at it. I would describe his attacks but it's basically like, sephiroth strikes people super fast with his sword and is just kind of a fucking asshole all the time.

Aerith is the most lovely of the summons and hands Taako an extra staff that has a bonus spell which she mouths is thunder.

Anyway stabby stabby! Last call for stabbing and slicing probably! ]

It’s okay Clem this is probably confusing for everyone there’s no dice rolling or anything we’re just out here hitting this guy with no concept of initiative. The chaos. It’s freeing. Anyway, speaking of rolls, I really did roll for it because of the spirit of things, but I got an 18, also in the spirit of things. Magnus is in this Chili’s tonight. Dodging deftly past stabbing and slicing, probs mostly because he was running up until this point.

Aerith truly is the most lovely of summons. Since this is the last call for one-liners though, and there’s a thunder spell around, just yeeting that. The spell. Not the staff. He’ll hold onto that for bonking.]

I didn’t prepare an electricity one—- oh, how about this: Catch the clap of this dummy thicc spell, ya horse-faced dillhole!

once she exhausts this stupid fire orb she's going to shoot sephiroth in the face (the face where his mouth is open the whole time) with a shotgun. unfortunately for the shotgun shot i rolled a 19, jesus.

she also cackles at the one liner. wow. terrible. it's the best? that's her brother!! ]

[unfortunately for sora i rolled a 13 which means that taako shouting distracts him enough he probably gets cut in the arm? but it's fine. he goes flying back and lands on his ass, recovering almost right away before grabbing his second sword and channeling his angry half and volleying right back at sephiroth to dualwield and swing both swords straight down at him.]

[ i rolled a 15 so clementine is also? a little distracted here??? but that's fine. the worst that happens is she misses a shot or two, but with a number that high she did not shoot any allies. so no big deal.

again a ranged normie with a gun is not that interesting and i'm very sorry ]

[ With the combined might of the clap of these cheeks, a shotgun, Sora channeling Roxas, Clem just going "What the fuck, you guys" as she shoots and all the summons, Sephiroth is defeated! Well, sort of.

The summons vanish as he stands there and smiles, even though they know in their heart of hearts his hp is at zero and this is bullshit. He looks up at the vast expanse of space. ]

... Not yet.

[ ... and vanishes, leaving behind only a singular black feather...

Time freezes around them as Wolf appears, standing there and looking at the galaxy. He's alone, his sword stabbed into the ground. And then...

There's a man in a dark hood, walking towards him. Wolf turns with a frown...

And everything fades to black!
