WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE

WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

[He's staring at Soo-won as he says it, not Gulfan. He stretches out a hand - ignore the fact that he's in gym clothes and has his metal leggies out for everyone to see.]

soo-won blinks a few times, as if trying to understand what hansa is wearing, but otherwise doesn't seem to mind, laughing with a smile as he reaches out to have his hand meet hansa's.]

Get into some trouble without me? I'm a little sad I couldn't join.

[He gives the hand a hearty shake, grinning.]

Oh, you know me. Even a priest like myself can't help but have a little fun here and there.

[shakes it back!!!! he thinks he remembers how to do this now]

Oh!! You remember! I'm so glad!

Do you feel better? No more anxiety about being inside?

[HE LEFT HANSA IN SUCH A BAD STATE HE WAS WORRIED]

I remember pretty much everything, yes.

[He's back, baby! Chaotic cyborg priest at your service.]

Hahaha! No more anxiety about that. I'm totally fine and one hundred percent civilized.

[there's just a bit of a laugh at that]

Oh, let's not go too far. I think causing some trouble and being a bit uncivilized is part of your charm.

Ooh, Soo-won, if it was anyone else saying that, I would take it as an insult...

[He puts his hand against his chest. Sir, please...]

[recrowns]

[there's just a little bit of a laugh]

But because it's coming from me, you know I'd never insult you.

[robopriest]

...I know you wouldn't.

[His look is...definitely a little fond.]

Busy over on the other side, were you?

[recrowns]

[he hums thoughtfully at that, looking like he's not sure how to answer the question]

... well, you truly have Yoshizawa and Sharon to thank for organizing everything amidst the removed. Archer and I actually mostly just went along with systems already put into place by the time we got there!

[he's so impressed, and honestly pretty relieved]

Afterward, we actually didn't stay long. I think I was only in the area the dead were kept for maybe half a day before we had to embark on our own journeys to return here....

[robopriest]

Oh, did they? Well, my compliments to them.

So I heard. You had to go through people's memories, huh?

Yes - in order to regain all of our own.

But... I'll have to say, it's rather nice. To feel a bit more whole again.

Now we're in the same conditions as when we first met.

[robopriest]

We're back at square one, huh? A very different square one, though.

[recrowns]

Fufu, so we are.

Do you think this square one is better or worse?

[just after all they've come to know about each other - he's curious.]

[robopriest]

Hm. I think, overall, after everything?

Its better.

[recrowns]

[ . . . . there's the slightest way that his brows raise at that in a gentle surprise. that even after everything, hansa thinks that their relationship is better than it used to be? of course, soo-won doesn't regret learning anything about hansa.

he just wonders if the reverse is true.

yet he supposes - this is not a decision he can make for him, can he?
