WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE

WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

His expression still softens at the kiss, and his tail gives a pleased, if amused flick to the side.]

[SAID WITH A KNOWING LOOK, he bet Hansa wrestled some large creature while he was away]

[He's looks like a very pleased dog who totally got into the cookie jar and ate everything inside it when his owner wasn't looking and hasn't been caught for it yet.]

I behaved a little bit.

Also I realize he is just casually holding Hansa in one arm, maybe he should stop that.

Yeah, it was me, Emet-Selch, and Blanca.

Emet-Selch's around. I know he'll be pleased to see you.

[Oh, Hansa absolutely had a babysitter around. Chiron's smile ticks up a notch, at the mention of both of those names]

I will see him in due time. I'm in no hurry. No doubt he has others to greet as well.

[Okay, he needs to get down. He wriggles a little, and hopefully Chiron lets him go, because-!]

[The llama just.............lets out an annoyed burble of a sigh.]

And seeing as Chiron knows very well how to solve this riddle--

Without any hesitation, he leans down and kisses the llama straight on the mouth]

[He is still kind of bewildered.]

Chiron, you didn't need to, it was going to last only five minutes anyways-! [wait] That was shorter than five minutes...

That is still five minutes longer than necessary when I can just kiss you back to your original form.

Or I suppose if Alex or Emet-Selch would like to take the next one, I have no complaints.

[Exhaustedly adds another to Chiron's fuckin kiss counter]

[He just. Stares for a moment because THAT IS A WHOLE LOT OF THINGS TO THINK ABOUT. Also wow he's a priest should he be thinking about kissing? This starts Hansa's internal Catholic crisis! Which......ends in like 0.01 seconds because its stupid to have a Catholic crisis, the Bible didn't say anything about kissing your loved ones Suck it, religion.]

Ah, well, I guess I...wouldn't mind...

[... Tilting his head a little. Guess who never found out about Hansa's loss of religion in the first place.]

Ah, I hope I was not too forward again.

I guess I'm just not used to the attention.

[Chiron looks vaguely surprised by this]

I would think you'd be quite popular.

[Playfully and lightly punches him against the side.]

I mean as far as people lining up to kiss me, Chiron.
