WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE

WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

Shiro gives her a warm smile.]

Hey, good to see you again. Are your memories all back?

[ she'll...fluster if only because she's happy? how does she happy in front of shiro?? ]

They are—all of them. I remember your Rin, Yukio, and everyone else.

[ she mentions his sons because she knows how important they are to him. ...and maybe to her? a little. ]

[lionson]

Good, that's good to hear.

[It's okay, she can fluster instead of being happy. That seems to be her natural state of being.]

You ready for what's to come?

[He says that like he has any idea what's going to happen, but he doesn't fukken know.]

Yeah.

[ waving a little awkwardly. his arm is burnt ] Looks like the gang's back together.

It does, yeah.

[But Zuko your arm.]

You need some help with that?

[ is he..... ]

What were you all doing over there?

[lionson]

[Is he really?]

Spying on you guys, mostly. You all can be pretty dramatic, you know that?

[ ah!!!!! ]

Shiro!! [ xie lian almost chirps when he spots him come through with the others, delight registering all over his face!!! his smile is bright and immediate, as he greets him properly, with a quick little bow. ] You're a bit late for the fighting, I think - it is only time for reunion now, instead.

[Ah. This is a reunion he has been stressing about for a while.

His smile isn't quite as bright as Xie Lian's is, but it's no less genuine. He's happy to see him, but there's other emotions mixed in there too.]

I think I'll be fine missing the fighting then, if everyone's safe. Long time no see.

En - it is wonderful, to see all of you here and reunited with us. The Leaders are safe as well, and taking a hard earned rest.

[ his smile softens a little further, and xie lian bows his head, again. ]

... I've missed you, my friend. We have much to catch up on.

Well there's still tomorrow. [it's kind of a joke but also...woof. still, shiro gets a smile.]

Looks like we all made it where we were supposed to. Welcome back.

Thanks. We had a hell of a trip to get here, but it looks like you guys did too.

I think we all knew it wasn't gonna be easy, but it was definitely worth it. Doing okay?

Usually everyone reunites first before the big battle, right?

Oh? So maybe this is the last save point before the final dungeon?

Yeah, that's it exactly. Until then, we should make the most of it.

[this is slightly later bc he had to go change, he has dignity, thank you... but he gives shiro a nod.]

I do hope the other side treated you well enough.

Yep! Though it never should've been in doubt, we knew what we needed to do.

[He's back, binches.]

So since I'm alive again and everything, does that mean I get to use your secret name? Or are you still hiding all of that?

You may, privately, but it is yet something I would not have others privy to.

[ oh, it's been a while, but there's a familiar face. she gives him a somewhat cautious smile. ]

We've got all the leaders back, even if it took a while.

I'd say so, yeah. Being dead made it easy to keep track of everyone.

I'm sure you had your hands full anyway.

I'm glad you're back, though. I wanted to apologize—for not confessing properly, back then.

It's the day before when trials usually happen, so we'll have to see what tomorrow and the next day bring. Still, it's nice to see everyone back together!
