WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE

WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

(It's hard to tell if he's still talking about the hero thing or just her being here, though. And he pulls away to say,)

[ honestly she wasn't expecting him to return it? but she's glad he did anyway. and she'll easily release claude when he pulls back, looking a little sheepish. ]

Well... Heroes are supposed to have a lot of nerve, right?

[riegan]

So that's why you left me hanging!

(Chase him down. Strike up a friendship. Get a guy to open up. And then die? He sees.)

Left - what? I didn't leave you hanging! I was only gone for a week!

[riegan]

(Ah-ah! Nope. He holds up a hand,)

Still too long after we've stricken up a long lasting friendship and everything.

(He doesnt seem too bothered though.)

[ she puffs out her cheeks for a moment. ]

Fine, you win. [ was it a competition ] How can I make it up to you, Riegan-san?

[riegan]

(Was it a competition?)

(Taps her nose. Puff those cheeks out all you want, Ochako. It's cute. )

Here's an idea. (And he's just going to take her hand in his, his palm up and her's down,) Another date.

Hear me out. (Before she gets embarrassed,) Some tea, some snacks, and we'll continue where we left off. What better time to get to know each other than now?

(Now that they remember everything.)

[ while she doesn't fluster so much this time, a blush does still blossom over her cheeks. ]

[ because they did talk about this and all. with their memories back, who is she to refuse? still... ]

Then it's arranged. (Just going to raise her hand and lean down to kiss the back. This is literally just him being a charming noble I'm so sorry Ochako.) Isn't it? An arrangement between two people to meet and spend time together? A date between friends?

[ she makes a face. ]

I'm not saying you have to tell me everything. I know you won't. But you did say you wanted to talk about stuff when we both remembered everything, so I'm holding you to it.

[riegan]

Not letting me go then, huh?

(He laughs!)

Well, I'd like to see the look on your face when I tell you some things.

(Ochako has some of the best reactions tbh.)
