FAREWELL ( ☆ ) Rise and shine, gremlins. As the new day begins, everyone will open their eyes and find themselves in transparent pods, just like the ones they had previously found the missing Leaders in. When they step out of them, they'll see the now probably familiar sight of a large, white room. Exiting the room will take them back to the castle, although it's a little different? Everything that made it personal to the Leaders is now gone, so that it no longer looks like anyone lived there. The passage leading to the basement is now locked as well, while the upper floors aren't glitching anymore. The rankings are finalized; rather, it seems that they have been since last week. Everyone on the Rabbit team will receive a message on their PHS: You did it! Think about your wish. Cute little stars zoom through the air, each one reaching a member of the Rabbit team. Looks like they'll be making their wish on these. As for everyone as a whole: Their memories are still intact, and they'll find that all of their powers have now returned to them. If they make their way to castle entrance, instead of a front door, they'll now see that it's full of many different portals. They can go through whichever portal they want, even if it's not their original home, but it's a one-way path. Unless someone on Rabbit team wants to use their wish for this, they have no way of traversing through the different worlds. They aren't completely cut off from one another, though. They're still allowed to keep their PHS, and it looks like the messaging function still works, with every participant and Leader available on the contact list. Have fun with your new texting buddies once you leave! Until then, it looks like it's time to say goodbye. Furthermore, it seems someone has something to say to everyone...

Again, hardly necessary. Even if anyone I should wish to find leave now, 'tis not as if they are gone forever.

I suppose you're right. [ ha ha... ] Say Alphinaud—how soon do you think you'd be able to visit? I doubt that it'd be a good idea if I followed so soon.

[ He is going to lightly poke at Miketsuchi's nose—and then pause, because... unfortunately, he has to mull on her question for a minute. ]

Would that I could say, but it is hard to determine. [ And he hates to say this, but: ] Weeks, at minimum, though it is more likely our circumstances will take longer to solve.

[ i was tempted to have miktsuchi bite his finger but he won't. instead he'll just lick his nose and shake his head. ]

Circumstances that could take over a year to resolve? [ look, sometimes things can take a long time in fantasy land? she has no idea. ] But even if so, I'll wait—unless it does take over a year then I might have to reconsider my options.

[ she's teasing. ]

I certainly hope not a whole year! Though—I can, thankfully, say from experience that the flow of time 'twixt worlds is an ever fluctuating thing. What may take moons for I could only be a matter of days for you.

[ So, Alphinaud isn't entirely surprised they can just go right back to the moment they came in from. ]

Good, then that's one less thing to worry about. I have to say, though, that sounds a little unfair but convenient.

Will it be strange going back to where you left off? I know it'll be...an interesting experience for me to return to how things were left off before I was dragged here.

[ then, he smiles at her ]

Given everything that I've heard of them, I can believe that you'll do just fine. But try not to be some big hero.

[ ha ha...and. hmm. would...this be a bad time to finally fess up to what she has been holding back all of this time? without a doubt but— ]

I...honestly hope so. I... I'm not in the best situation right now back home. [ still casually dancing around things. ] But if Shima wasn't lying to me then I get better.

... Are you going to be in trouble?

[ how long can she dance around saying what is exactly wrong? ]

It's long and complicated but—in short, I'm currently being possessed by a demon that's killing me. [ sor...ry..? something something "time is precious". ] And I have to go back because I can't leave my little sister yet. I need to make sure that she's safe.

I have to. It's like I said—I need to make sure my little sister is safe. Going anywhere else would just be delaying it even more.

No, I'm not. I'm certain that I won't...but if Shima isn't lying, and we don't have to worry about any other timelines, then I survive. I'm not sure how and I won't bother asking, but he claims to that what is happening to me happened months ago for him.

[ the amount of faith and trust she has to put on shima is rather sickening but what can you do? ]

[ Well! This sucks. This absolutely sucks. But... ]

... Normally, I would discourage you from returning to something so horrific, especially so with uncertainties looming over us.

Yet it is not the first mention you have made of your sister. I know how important she is to you—as much as mine own is to myself, I would wager. If you trust that Shima speaks true, then I will choose to believe in him, as well.

I'd do anything to protect my sister, since she, too, is my treasure.

And don't get it misunderstand, I'm far from trusting anything that comes out of his mouth. However, I'm fairly confident that he isn't about to let anything happen to me after all of this. [ especially after a conversation they had but that's also neither here nor there. ] I don't know how soon things will be resolved for me but I imagine it would have to be quick.

[ since actively dying and all, and she'll dig out her phs with her free hand and hold it up. ]
