Rise and shine, gremlins.

As the new day begins, everyone will open their eyes and find themselves in transparent pods, just like the ones they had previously found the missing Leaders in. When they step out of them, they'll see the now probably familiar sight of a large, white room. Exiting the room will take them back to the castle, although it's a little different? Everything that made it personal to the Leaders is now gone, so that it no longer looks like anyone lived there. The passage leading to the basement is now locked as well, while the upper floors aren't glitching anymore.

The rankings are finalized; rather, it seems that they have been since last week. Everyone on the Rabbit team will receive a message on their PHS:

You did it! Think about your wish.

Cute little stars zoom through the air, each one reaching a member of the Rabbit team. Looks like they'll be making their wish on these.

As for everyone as a whole:

Their memories are still intact, and they'll find that all of their powers have now returned to them. If they make their way to castle entrance, instead of a front door, they'll now see that it's full of many different portals. They can go through whichever portal they want, even if it's not their original home, but it's a one-way path. Unless someone on Rabbit team wants to use their wish for this, they have no way of traversing through the different worlds.

They aren't completely cut off from one another, though. They're still allowed to keep their PHS, and it looks like the messaging function still works, with every participant and Leader available on the contact list. Have fun with your new texting buddies once you leave!

Until then, it looks like it's time to say goodbye. Furthermore, it seems someone has something to say to everyone...

[ There is a man in a dark hood standing there, clapping loudly and enthusiastically. His movements are almost comically exaggerated. ]

Congratulations!!! What an incredible job!

[ he stops clapping suddenly, bringing a hand up to his-- well, you have to assume it's his chin, since his face is completely darkened by the hood somehow. ]

Incredibly terrible for the most part, actually. I was starting to think you wouldn't make it! There's only so many times I can push a convenient reset button, you know? It gets old after a while, watching you all fail in similar ways. But still! Congratulations! You did it. Twentieth's time the charm, or something.

[ he, uh, takes a break to start counting on his fingers and then waves it off ]

The details don't matter. It's over! Everyone made it, and our dearest team Rabbit now all have a wish for themselves! And the rest of you get diddly-squat, because second place is just another word for first loser. You can all go home and rest. I'll even let you keep the PHS as souvenirs! I've unlocked the texting function for everyone now. These things are so useful, aren't they? They didn't have them in my time. Wait, does that make me sound old.

[ he sounds almost concerned? but anyway; ]

Each of you has a portal that will lead you to where you last remember being! Time, place, everything was paused. Now, I'm not keeping track of who has which portal, so the decision of which portal you go into is entirely up to you. I'm turning a blind eye just this once, since you've helped me so much. You're welcome!

Now shoo.

[ he makes shooing motions and im sure. people will listen to this. ]

[ If you were on Rabbit team, you can make a note of your wish here! Restrictions are 1) that it must specifically be about the characters or their home worlds, meaning it can't affect the Realm (no wishing MoM out of existence, for one) and 2) it can't be vague/trying to cheat, such as "I wish everyone's wish gets granted". ]

[ Dorothy sure is heading for the portal, where Ange is definitely hovering impatiently and shooting her rather pointed looks... but she'll catch your eye and tilt her head with a little smile. ]

We'd better make it count. I'm afraid she's rather in a hurry.

[ HE'S SO TIRED listening to this guy talk exhausts him, holy shit.

If anybody wants Kano today you're not getting Kano. He immediately takes advantage of having his powers back and turns himself into a cute little black cat with bright red eyes and unless you kick him in the side or step on his tail or something, he's not going back to being Kano.

Gotta go home and poison his dad, byeeee. ]

[Well, then. MoM was a surprise.

Anyway, Sumire will wander around after that bit of exposition, taking one last look at the setting with a tiny sauropod on her shoulder. There are two choices here, really. You can either a) flag her down yourself while she's distracted with some part of the setting. Or, b) let your character be harassed by a teenage girl. Should you opt for the latter, she will greet them with a polite smile and bow, and say:]

... This is it, huh?

[Wow there are a lot of people just bailing early on this log.

Which is to say that here's another one who's beelining for the portal. She will stop only if someone actually calls out to her, because otherwise she is a spy on a mission.

Though she can be briefly found by her world's portal, arms crossed and tapping her foot, while she waits for Dorothy to get done saying her goodbyes.

Anyway she's the worst still.]

[ anyway, ochako is going up to anyone and everyone, just to double-check things. ]

Hey, hey! Check your PHS! You got the new app, right? Right?

[ she's just. so excited but she needs to make sure that it went through to everyone before she even thinks about leaving. ]

[ hey, catch lup wasting all of her spell slots on just absolutely destroying the upper floors of the castle. not because she's angry, because she's happy to have all of them back.

everything is on fire. also, to the closest person she sees: ]

Hey! Wanna get Polymorphed?

[ Cater is standing there in her fox kigu because who wants to say good bye dressed as a clown? A large fish tank with a starfish and little jellyfish appears in her hands, and she carefully places it on the ground. Then she puts her gun down, her fanny pack full of stickers, the rock they were given at the beginning, and finally her phs. ]

The gun and PHS are up for grabs if anyone else wants them.

[ The tank and stickers are spoken for. After another moment, she'll crouch down to the tank. ]

Hope you guys like your new home. Look after him for me, okay?

II. So long and thanks for the memories...
[ She's going to be lingering for as long as she's able. If anyone approaches, they will catch a stray thought murmured out loud... ]

You know, I wish I could have done things differently... maybe I could have ran a little bit further. [ A pause before she shakes her head. ]

Enough with feeling sorry for myself. I'll make my last moments the best.

[ Seems like she's trying to pump herself up for something. Once she realizes she has company, her face with flush with color for a moment before she gives a grin. ]

Hey. Where are you heading?

[... Well.

It's about what he expected, frankly, when he comes out of the pod - his greatest fear realized. Whatever was keeping him stable is shattered as the Throne remembers its lost hero, and with no proper anchor to keep his form in place, no Master, Chiron is only grateful he has enough time to submit his wish.

There is no time to grieve, or tell the rest that he loves them.

All anyone will see is a sudden flash out of the corner of their eyes, as golden orbs dissipate into nothingness a second later.

Chiron is, for some reason, nowhere to be found.]

[Handing out . . . a headshot? It glitters. Also it somehow smells like warm cookies? Why. Oh. Probably because there's a warm cookie attached to it.]

Okay, well, fuckin' bye or whatever! Call me. Or don't. I guess you can visit, like, if you wanted.

[ alyssa stands in front of the portal to her world, her item in her hands. there's an inscrutable expression on her face as she looks down at the object, arms shaking lightly the longer she lingers without doing anything.

she closes her eyes.

then, all of a sudden, she winds up, throws the item into the portal, and turns away from it with a smile and a profound sense that she isn't planning on looking back. whether it's immediately after she does this, or sometime later in the day, she'll grab the nearest person's arm and ask, ]

Hey, can you tell me about your world? The thing is, I'm thinking of getting a new start, sooo... I'm exploring my options!

[He's holding his little wish star, looking pensive.]

Mm. . . I can't think of anything I really want.

[If we have CR and there's something you need, this is your chance to get a wish. . . ]

[Well, he's standing near the portal about to go, looking awkward about how to say his goodbyes. Come talk to him before he goes?]

[ Oh thank fucking Dianxia they have their powers back.

The first thing one might notice is a sudden pressure, before Hua Cheng reins it in to less "holy shit" levels, as his spiritual energy is returned. His entire presence is just - magnified, even if you aren't typically spiritually aware. The second thing is that silver butterflies emerge from his right bracer, enveloping his left side and thankfully restoring his missing arm in short order. He has to reach and unpin his sleeve to actually allow space for it.

After that, you can either find him milling around the portals with some absent curiosity (and, you know, being present for goodbyes) rather than booking it straight through, a couple of butterflies milling around here and there... or, actually, in the book shop, raiding books. Zero hesitation, full theft, he is taking so many of these things. ]

[ Alphinaud looks up at the portals, murmuring to himself: ]

So we did it, after all...

[ But he doesn't escape into one just yet. Instead, he goes around looking for people—even if they've only chatted a little! C'mere. ]

'Twould seem it is time to finally bid this world farewell—and each other, but only for now.

[ there isn't much here. alex doesn't have any powers to return, new forms to take or anything, she's just... stood by the portal, phs clutched tightly in one hand, arms folded across her chest and staring at the portal like she thinks it's going to give her answers.

... she'll look up if someone approaches. ]

[ Bucky is holding the shield reverently as he stands before the portal to his world. He gave away most of his other things before he was executed, so he doesn't have much else on him besides the PHS and the clothes on his back (which I've decided are normal and I'm handwaving him getting normal clothes. although he's still got a bit of clown makeup on his face he missed while washing. because.)

Oh he does have a big mixing bowl though. It smells faintly of whiskey. ]

...I'd say I'd miss this place but it's been pretty damn miserable. Some of you were alright, though. You know how to contact me if you need me.

[Oh, look, its Hansa. He's just standing out here, rolling up a sleeve, and-]

[KA-CHUNK. A whole-ass giant knife clicks out from his arm. He nods, pleased.]

Everything's in working order. Good. [The knife slides back into his arm, and he rolls his sleeve down.] Well...I guess its back to work overseeing that joke of a war...

[Haha, war? Well! Who knows! Anyways, he seems in particularly good spirits! Hansa can be found just wandering around the castle, especially in the coffee shop. He missed you, coffee...]

[Shiro will be going before too long, he's not one for long goodbyes. But he can be caught near the portals for a chat before he goes.

He's looking down at the PHS he has, specifically looking at the 'transport' option.]

Mmm. I wonder if this would solve that problem. I could probably...

[He's mumbling to himself. Interrupt?]

[ it's usagi.....! with everyone's powers back it's far easier to sense a quiet power about her, though there's no real pinpointing where and what it is. perhaps it's just nothing at all!

regardlessly, here she is in her school uniform, staring at the portals almost uncertainly. there's an air of melancholy about her yet she'll still smile at anyone who approaches ]

Promise to keep in contact?

[A portal? All right. It's an end to this, finally. Laine runs a quick check of his powers before he steps through (a knife appears in one hand, made of glowing energy. he throws straight it into the air, catches it at the peak of the throw, hovering twenty feet above the ground for a second before letting himself fall and land). A grin, a wave back at the group.]

Stay safe, everybody. [And then he's heading through that portal.]

[ me sighing in absolute exhaustion as soon as i read "all of their powers have now returned to them"

honestly she half doesn't expect to wake up from a pod? at least, not like this. it's much quieter and less dramatic than she was expecting, no sudden shift of perspective. it's just... her. in any case, she's in no rush to go back through the portals, it seems- they have time? so why rush? so she'll be wandering and exploring the castle they're in now.

but every now and then, when you catch sight of her shadow or reflection, it's... different, to say the least. much larger than it should be, not quite matching what her silhouette should reasonably be in the least, considering she's more or less in clothing that resembles the ballroom outfit she had two weeks ago and on the field trip to rescue swan, so it's not an entirely odd sight, though the gown's been traded for a more modest black funeral dress?

oh, but the red flowers in her hair seem to actually be growing out of it, and on closer inspection, those sure are skeletal hands, which seem to be sporting small white blooms of their own, like a little daisychain linking them together. it's fine, i'm sure. if you get to her early enough on, you might catch her in the middle of examining them with a very blank expression, murmuring: ]

Ah, so I suppose it really isn't needed anymore, after all...

[ but otherwise, your options are to a) run into her as she's wandering around try to flag her down, or b) have her bump into you while she's distracted and. apologize, very hastily, trying to keep her hands out of sight.

i technically guess there's a c) option where you might be noticing odd figures flitting around the castle and giggling quietly to themselves out of the corner of your vision or behind various odds and ends, and you might notice that despite them being fairly independent, they seem to have a tendency of trailing her around.

or they can just throw a tomato at you because it's funny. where did they get the tomatoes please don't ask. in general reality seems- two degrees to the left, when she's around, like a too vivid dream with too many colors, or fallen items taking too long to fall to the ground. the laws of physics are just suggestions.

option d) also technically exists and it's the no good very bad one of

you might catch sight of her- you've seen her around in the past few weeks, right? who was she again? what was her name? well, you don't really remember talking to her much, right? if you can't remember, then it surely isn't important.

don't worry about it. it'll be fine. everything will be fine. this will be a happy dream, in the end, and dreams so rarely remain in memory after waking. even if you remember some things right now- well, she'll fix that. it's a gradual process, but you won't have to miss her at all. she's been forgotten before, and she will be forgotten again.

(but i am not going to godmod homuralilly into messing with and suppressing your characters' memories of her specifically unless you specifically opt into it, so. it's undoable if you confront her on it, but!) ]

she wants to go home to aj - but everything is paused... so at least she knows he's safe for the time being. but GIVEN HER WISH, she has no fucking idea what things will be like when she goes back?

[waking up in a pod isn't new, actually. but after his conversation with the man in the black coat, sora's...

...very, very unsettled, actually. which means that he's at the castle's entrance, not quite on the other side where the portals are and instead seems to be leaning against the wall watching people mingle and pass. his keyblade's since been dismissed, and he's mostly just vibing.

but he offers a light smile to anyone who comes close.]

We really finished it off. So what's next?
