FAREWELL ( ☆ ) Rise and shine, gremlins. As the new day begins, everyone will open their eyes and find themselves in transparent pods, just like the ones they had previously found the missing Leaders in. When they step out of them, they'll see the now probably familiar sight of a large, white room. Exiting the room will take them back to the castle, although it's a little different? Everything that made it personal to the Leaders is now gone, so that it no longer looks like anyone lived there. The passage leading to the basement is now locked as well, while the upper floors aren't glitching anymore. The rankings are finalized; rather, it seems that they have been since last week. Everyone on the Rabbit team will receive a message on their PHS: You did it! Think about your wish. Cute little stars zoom through the air, each one reaching a member of the Rabbit team. Looks like they'll be making their wish on these. As for everyone as a whole: Their memories are still intact, and they'll find that all of their powers have now returned to them. If they make their way to castle entrance, instead of a front door, they'll now see that it's full of many different portals. They can go through whichever portal they want, even if it's not their original home, but it's a one-way path. Unless someone on Rabbit team wants to use their wish for this, they have no way of traversing through the different worlds. They aren't completely cut off from one another, though. They're still allowed to keep their PHS, and it looks like the messaging function still works, with every participant and Leader available on the contact list. Have fun with your new texting buddies once you leave! Until then, it looks like it's time to say goodbye. Furthermore, it seems someone has something to say to everyone...

Unknowns are hard to deal with. But I do want things to get better. Even if my wish worked... [ which she still doesn't really? believe? it's fine. ] It's still going to take a long time before things change.

[ so. it's a mixed bag of emotions here. ]

... Not wanting to pin all your hopes on a wish is wise.

But if it did work... if you know what to expect, then you know where to start, correct? And if the changes are far-reaching and for the better, then that's less for you to have to deal with.

There's nothing else to do about it than to walk forward and find out. You made the wish. You'll have to accept what came of it.

I don't know. I don't really believe in wishes. Not without cost.

I've already tried to change fate before ... Perhaps I'd simply make sure that if I made another wish, I'd succeed this time.

[ clem nods. that sounds reasonable to her? even after making her wish she's still half like "well that's not real" about it. ]

[ such a small, stupid, hopeless wish. which, hilariously, she did not actually remember for. a while. ]

[ things like that make clementine feel bad for her own wish. she would never trade it, but. still - it's something she's thought since the first time wishes came up. everyone has something they want to change or fix. it's not just her. ]

There's no need to apologize. [ not like it's clem's fault madoka universe is madoka universe. ] There's nothing I can do about it anymore, anyway.

[ weird that she can say sorry for homura's losses, but shakes her head about her own. she isn't minimizing them, it's just more internalized that in her world... this is just what happens.

But I suppose it means something, that you're trying. Will it not be a problem, having to remember not to, when you go back?

[ homura is probably right about that... especially given that clem still has little to no understanding of homura's situation. clem's is pretty clear cut. (she thinks, anyway?) ]

Honestly it... Probably will be. But I'll manage.

[ hilariously, if you were to ask homura, she'd say that her situation doesn't even begin to compare. self aware enough, at least, to know it was self made. ]

Everyone's as strong as their situation makes them. Or something.
