FAREWELL ( ☆ ) Rise and shine, gremlins. As the new day begins, everyone will open their eyes and find themselves in transparent pods, just like the ones they had previously found the missing Leaders in. When they step out of them, they'll see the now probably familiar sight of a large, white room. Exiting the room will take them back to the castle, although it's a little different? Everything that made it personal to the Leaders is now gone, so that it no longer looks like anyone lived there. The passage leading to the basement is now locked as well, while the upper floors aren't glitching anymore. The rankings are finalized; rather, it seems that they have been since last week. Everyone on the Rabbit team will receive a message on their PHS: You did it! Think about your wish. Cute little stars zoom through the air, each one reaching a member of the Rabbit team. Looks like they'll be making their wish on these. As for everyone as a whole: Their memories are still intact, and they'll find that all of their powers have now returned to them. If they make their way to castle entrance, instead of a front door, they'll now see that it's full of many different portals. They can go through whichever portal they want, even if it's not their original home, but it's a one-way path. Unless someone on Rabbit team wants to use their wish for this, they have no way of traversing through the different worlds. They aren't completely cut off from one another, though. They're still allowed to keep their PHS, and it looks like the messaging function still works, with every participant and Leader available on the contact list. Have fun with your new texting buddies once you leave! Until then, it looks like it's time to say goodbye. Furthermore, it seems someone has something to say to everyone...

[ Despite, well, everything, Hua Cheng is still nosy. And people mumbling is always going to catch a nosy person's attention, as he's making rounds through the portal room. ]

[Shiro looks up, his pensive look changing to a smile pretty quickly.]

Aaah, just some business I have to deal with back home.

[...well, it wouldn't hurt to be honest, maybe.]

Dying business, mostly. Shima and Izumo didn't tell me, exactly, but from the way they talked about their future I know I won't be around to see it. So I thought maybe I could go home until that time and then go somewhere else. I know I'm old, but I'd like to think I have a few years left in me.

He listens, and - at first, his instinctive response is "wow, that sucks" and to walk away. But Hua Cheng thinks about how upset Xie Lian would be, if he found out that Shiro just walked off to his death and had nowhere else to go, so he sighs and smothers down that petty part of him.

(He was the one that was just kissing Xie Lian in public, anyways. Neener.) ]

Your religion and your god likely don't exist in Zhongguo, but I imagine you would regardless fit right in, especially when it comes to Ghost City. [ bleh ]

I couldn't possibly accept that offer, I'd be imposing.

[He says that with a grin, because he does indeed know about that public kiss.]

Plus I have to figure out how to drag two teenagers along with me. I'm not leaving my boys behind.

Oh good I don't have to be hospitable. [ dryly ] Gege would be upset if I didn't offer, and I'm sure he'll do the same if he finds out about this.

[ At least they're being game about this. Hua Cheng doesn't hate Shiro, he's just petty. Character development has him doing this, though. ]

I'm sure they would be amicable to it if you just tell them you're at risk of, you know, dying. But I haven't been a teenager in a while, and this was my first stint in dealing with them on a regular basis. Who knows.

I was gonna avoid telling him. He doesn't need to worry about that kinda thing. I get the feeling he's got too much to worry about anyway.

I'll just bother you instead. Be kind to me, Hua Cheng~ I'm far nicer than the pair of moody teenagers who call me 'dad'.
