WEEK ONE: MINGLE

WEEK ONE: MINGLE (40 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Hajime, Pikachu, and Virid's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Finally, this week, the participants will find themselves drawn to one person in particular. Whoever that is, they will find themselves compelled to be close to them physically. The longer they attempt to resist this, the more compelled they will be... and the closer they will want to be, to the point that it might be emotionally and physically draining to not be holding hands or hugging them for several hours because you've ignored them too long. That's fun.

[gasp... animal friends... she gently places her hand against her mouth to keep herself from saying anything, not wanting to scare the small gathering of rabbits that's congregated around Goat's feet.]

Um... um, Goat-san... Can I come say hi? They won't run away, will they?

[ they look up at her from where they're probably chilling on the ground. ]

If you don't do anything to frighten them.

[She nods carefully, crossing the distance and keeping her voice low as she kneels down, not quite within arm's reach. She's just here to say hello, after all! No need to scare them with trying to reach them.]

Hi, everybody. You're all awful cute, huh... Is Goat-san being kind to you?

[The rabbits, of course, don't respond, but that's fine.]

[ goat says nothing, simply watching hikaru instead. ]

IT'S 2AM????? YOU'RE ALL GROUNDED????

[She's plopping to a seat right where she is, content to talk even if the bunnies don't move from their comfy ring of Goat protection.]

Does being in places like this make you happy?

I suppose. Though the town is beautiful in its own way, as a sign of where humans live, forests are where other creatures thrive.

[heartablaze]

Mhmm. Like an animal town all by itself, right?

I think animals are a lot smarter than people know. They can sense more than people, and they have their own feelings, even if we can't understand them. The bunnies trust you for a reason, you know? They feel safe. I like to think that means they know Goat-san is a kind person.

[retellers]

Do you think so...?

[heartablaze]

Yeah! Absolutely.

I don't ever stay stuff I don't mean.

[retellers]

... You have a very sincere heart, then.

[heartablaze]

You think so?

Sometimes there's things I don't want other people to know - I think everybody has moments like that. If there's something that I don't want people to worry about, or something that will make others sad or make me seem like a burden... that's really hard to talk about. It's a lot easier to just say you're okay, you know?

But being honest with what I say is the only way to let people know how my heart truly feels. So... that's what I try to do, even if I'm not always perfect at it.
