Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up.

The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed.

Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel.

Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs!

Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing.

Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun!

Strangely... there doesn't seem to be skeletons on this ship? That's weird! Guess you guys lucked out.

Wait, no, there's another ship in the bay and it's coming this way, and also it has skeletons. Good thing Sora can steer this one, right? ]

Sora can be Captain Kegstealer - Karl? Karson? Krieg. [ she's distracted by this. until she spots the boat. she leans over the side of the ship and then hollers at top volume: ]

SHIP TO THE WHICHEVER ONE MEANS RIGHT, CAPTAIN!

I'm not gonna be Captain Karl! And it's starboard! [which is to say sora's immediately bounding behind the steering wheel of the ship, and steering their boat in the direction of the second ship. it's easy to see they aren't alone, but he's still squinting.]

Who're those guys...? [more...skeleton...pirates? hm. wow. how familiar. much deja vu. oh well! full speed ahead] Get ready to cut 'em off from reaching the town!

[ This would have been an awkward thread if Sora wasn't here, huh.

But the other ship is coming over as well. Skeletons wave their swords threatening at them, as they also start to aim cannons in the direction of the Howling Rose.

From down below, thuds can be heard in the Howling Rose. Huh. Weird. ]

[enjoy your pirate name, Sora. Anyway, Taako will, uh, head below deck, wielding his /looks at hand - half an umbrella. This will be fine.]

lup is... going to follow taako below deck because she's not about to let him get stabbed by a skeleton with his half an umbrella when she has a sword, please. but - she calls over her shoulder to sora: ]

I'll come back up after we knock some skulls together! [ haha, skeleton joke

where are the cannons on this thing, can we even shoot them ]

Got it! Be careful down there! [can't believe y'all are leaving the 16 year old on deck while the enemy ship is gearing up to shoot them with cannons.

but it's fine? it's fine because sora's played this game before which means he's steering the ship just enough to follow orders and try to knock the other ship off-course, adjusting the wheel so that he can abandon it and grab his own sword to wave it at the skeletons.]

[WHO LEFT HIM ALONE UP HERE.]

[ Down below, Lup and Taako will find... two pirate skeletons! They're wearing matching clothing. Weird. One of them steps forward. ]

Look, my twin, Rup, we've been caught.

[ Hm.

Anyway. Back on top, a few of the skeletons are now trying to jump ship to get onto the Howling Rose. Some of them miss and fall into the water, which is embarrassing. But some manage to barely leap onto it and immediately run to rush Sora. ]

Hey, fuck you pal, I know what's pushing copyright infringement and what isn't and Fantasy Saylor Twift sent me a cease and desist for exactly the same bullshit!

[Trying to just kick him in the skeleton shin with his sharp, sharp booties. This will work, right.]

Rup - isn't that the name of the guy who won't let me pet his dog? Caught doing what.

[ she just watches taako kick the skeleton. get him.

she's going to have to head back up in a second to stop sora from dying to like a zillion skeletons, but. ]

well! anyway! goodbye to the skeletons that jump and fall straight in the water, you won't be missed. but as the others leap onto the deck sora's putting up his sword to block, a parry to push one out of the way before swinging to slam his blade into another.

the nice thing is that this is a two-handed sword and he's used to two-handed weapons, so give him a moment to dash across the deck, kick off of the wheel and come in for an aerial strike to happily beat up a couple of pirates and try to push them back toward the side of the ship.

lup and taako are likely going to hear him running everywhere, please ftlog come help him.]

[ The other skeleton, named Rup, steps forward. She(?) looks confused, or as confused as one can look when you're a skeleton. ]

Arrr... we do not know what copyright infringement mea--no! Not Paako!

[ Paako just got kicked, and stumbles over. Rup lets out a battlecry, and immediately charges Taako, who he will sue later once they learn what copyright infringement is.

Meanwhile, Sora is still by himself for some reason. His aerial strike works! They stumble back, embarrassed because this is a child, before charging at him again. ]

[soras fine HE'S FINE]

Caught with their skele-pants down, right?

[holding a hand up for a high five. everything is fine. Once he's being charged, just holding the half an umbrella like a fucking baseball bat and trying to knock Rup's skele-head off her (?) skele-shoulders.]

[ absolutely takes that high five. ]

Eat shit, Paako! [ lup doesn't know how to use a sword but she's absolutely going to swing it down anyway to try and rattle paako's bones. if she can, she'll behead him. de-skull him. whatever.

she's listening for sora to yell for help, it's fine. ]

[sora will never yell for help. help will show up when he least expects it tbh, that's how it works? which is to say he whips himself around, never quite slowing down despite the healing burns on his legs as he swings to attempt knocking a skeleton overboard. if any of them get too close though, he'll go for another strike and a slash sideways to knock them off-course and blocking as best as he can.

[sora is absolutely right, because in disney movies? help always DOES arrive in the nick of time!

Into the unknoooooooooooown!

[dramatic music swells around the ship, which I have now decided is a sea shanty version of "into the unknown". i will look up later if this exists and i will be disappointed if it doesn't. the voice, though, comes out of elsa's incredible lungs, which can spit solid beats regardless of what fearsomely exhausting physical activity she's currently up to.

and right now, that activity is swinging on to the ship via rope and straight up clocking a skeleton in the skull with her swashbuckling boots. she's aiming to wreck his shit completely, so if his sword happens to comedically fly into the air after she executes this rad move, elsa will move to catch it with a flourish, because disney, that's why. mods do it for the vine.

she lands on the deck, and swings her braid over her shoulder, smiling at sora.]

Need a hand, captain?

[regardless of if she gets that sword or not, she's ready to absolute kick the shit out of some skellies.]

[ Horrible. Paako, however, seems enraged by his sister's beheading, even though she is completely fine without one. But Paako will now try to wrestle Lup, despite the fact that she just cut off an arm.

Up top, the skeletons all... pause and watch Elsa's entrance. A few clap appreciatively. It was pretty good? One of the skeletons makes a so-so motion. ]

Eh. Doubloona would have sang it better.

[ Anyway, Elsa gets a sword. The skeletons will finally stop clapping, and will charge at both Sora and Elsa.

The other ship is still hanging out. Please, continue to not pay any attention to it and its cannons. Don't worry about it. ]

[Taako pauses in his tracks, as if he's sensed a deep disturbance in the air . . .]

Is-- is someone getting applause that isn't me?

[But, you know, there's shit to do. Lup has a sword, so she's fine. She can handle these rude knock offs. Ducking into a roll to go after Rup's head that he just sent spinning off into the distance and . . . is there a cannon around. Shoving it into a cannon.]

I came here to fire a friggin' cannon and I want to fire a cannon already!

[ if there are any cannonballs around she'll kick one in taako's direction, also.

otherwise she's going to use rup's body as a distraction by shoving it at paako and then hitting them both with her sword. just wild whacking.

where's his arm. can she dual wield. lup is going to beat paako and rup with her sword and also paako's arm. ]

[that's it. elsa of arendelle is literally his only friend right now because like the skeletons, sora also pauses to watch elsa's grand entrance. give him a moment to give her a wide smile.]

I knew you'd come through for me! Ready to show 'em how it's done? [does elsa know how to use a sword? he actually does not know but that was pretty damn impressive so it's surely fine. and if not, punching works like he's doing right now to clock a skeleton in the head to pop its skull off as it gets closer.] Stand your ground!

[why? because he's going to fight his way over to the side of the ship and with a running leap he's going to jump over to the other ship to make sure there aren't any lone skeletons around. good luck elsa, you got this! probably!]

[complete with jump-cut zoom-in for each word, her face determined and ready to destroy. this is very exciting! she hasn't fought anything since the whole spirits thing, and she didn't want to hurt them! let's wreck the undead! especially whoever doubloona is!!

elsa has no earthly idea how to swordfight, but she has unlimited running-in-the-deep-snow stamina, and the kind of terrifying determination that can literally tame a bucking waterhorse trying to kill you? so, she's literally just slashing fools left and right, every time they get a little too close, lopping off limbs and scattering bones. she doesn't look too worried? it's fine. it's disney!]

[ Good news! There are cannonballs. Bad news... there seems to be a lack of ammunition? Huh. Weird. Almost like someone threw all the ammunition overboard, because they weren't expecting an army of skeletons to attack the town, which is a situation where ammunition would be useful? Anyway.

Lup... can dual wield. Paako is outraged.

Meanwhile, Sora just leaped onto an enemy ship! Surprise, it's full of skeletons! Sora leaps into the middle of what seems like a villain song number, but they pause mid-note to look at him. Awkward. ]

... arrrr. He has come.

[ They look serious, or as serious as a skeleton can look. They cannot make facial expressions, they are bones.

Meanwhile, Elsa is going wild with her new sword? That's cool. The skeletons look at each other, and instead decide to attack by throwing shit at her. Like, boat stuff. Have some rope, binch! ]

[ at some point while lup is wailing on the fake twins she gets this sense that she should be really mad about something. hm.

anyway, taako leaves, which is fine because lup was getting bored of beating them up pretty quickly so she just follows taako up to the deck. she's still got paako's arm, too. ]

Oh, shit! Elsa, what's up - where is Sora. [ ...

oh right. well, she'll throw paako's arm at mach speed at the skeletons throwing shit at elsa, and then do a running leap to like, midair sidekick one of them off the side of the ship. it's very pro wrestling.
