WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... Third time isn't the charm, as it turns out. You have nine hours. We'll help with what we can, as before." ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. Which, admittedly, lends less credence to the idea that it was Alyssa if you ask me. I would have been more worried if she was the one who suggested the drinking game herself as a ploy.

Yeah. Like - I don't wanna rule her out I guess but I just... really doubt it was her? In this instance.

In truth, I do as well - but if we have multiple fingerprints to use, we might as well use one for her against the bottle to eliminate her or not.

And really, I appreciate it. The last thing any of us want to do is get another innocent person killed.

Beyond that, if we are to assume the gloves and other clothing items were involved, then we are already assuming that someone acquired those items first, or else had hidden them. In that case, it makes less sense to leave and return to precisely the same location.

The gloves were found at the swamp, fort, docks, and Howling Rose.

Soo-won, Blanca, and Hansa were at the fort.
Jeanne, Hikaru, and I were at the docks.
Xie Lian, Bucky, Shigeo, Laine, and... (THAT GUY UGH) Hua Cheng..... were on the Howling Rose.
No one stayed at the swamp.

Which is... everyone else who was in the Northern Area which doesn't narrow anything down.

He did, Rufus managed to get him more than once with his choices.

And did he seem considerably intoxicated to you? As a soldier, I'm surprised that he'd let himself agree to drinking on a night where people might be murdered.

He seemed coherent enough. And I don't believe he was drinking when Rufus decided to target me personally as the game went on...

[ Dorothy sighs, slowly shaking her head. ]

But I think the majority of us were of the mindset that if we might be killed, we'd rather be drunk for it. Rufus and Sora aside, of course.

Right, people can move around and we know based on all of the glove locations that they definitely got around. If we have any other ideas, we need to hear them now.

Yeah, I just - were any of the glove people in the locations where the gloves were found for curfew?

It must've been a short kill, like - I think you might be onto something with it being a girl, because I think he would've let his guard down for a girl much more, but Schwann wasn't as horny as Raven so. Maybe not? Maybe someone he respected.

But like, if the gloves are related - they would've had to just really speedrun their kill so they could go yeet gloves across the town.

What if they had an accomplice? To "yeet" the gloves, and the signs, as well.

Yeah, that's another thing, like - who is out here with enough time to do a murder and still do all that? I don't... wanna complicate things too much by assuming there's like three murderers but. It's just a lot.

I agree with you. Especially since we're assuming that Laine may have been stabbed by the makeshift spear... that was disposed of in the swamp, right? Their paths simply would have had to cross, at some point during the night, if there were more than one, unless they were working together...
