WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. I want to talk about Raven's murder. We know he spent curfew with Dorothy, Raven, Sora, Taako, Lup, Alyssa, and Rufus. They played a drinking game together.

We think he might have been drugged with medicine to be easier to subdue. If we're certain the gloves were related to Raven's killing then that leaves Jeanne, Alyssa, Yoshizawa, Sora, Izumo, and Ange.

Between the lists, there are two names that overlap. We know Sora only had juice and I don't think he'd let anyone too young drink.

As some of you may know, Raven became "Schwann" this week. Instead of thinking of them as two totally different people, think of them as two sides of the same person. If you do, then remember that Raven was fond of women. It's possible he might have let his guard down even more after a few drinks.

If Alyssa or anyone has something they want to say, I'd like to hear it.

Why just her, though, like you know people can walk from other locations to the pub, right. I don't know if that narrows anything down.

Could you remind us who initiated the drinking game the night before, Lup? Just before you all slept.

Did Schwann partake?

It was me and Taako. And he did, for sure, but only after we bullied him and Rufus into doing it.

He did, Rufus managed to get him more than once with his choices.

Right, people can move around and we know based on all of the glove locations that they definitely got around. If we have any other ideas, we need to hear them now.

Yeah, I just - were any of the glove people in the locations where the gloves were found for curfew?

It must've been a short kill, like - I think you might be onto something with it being a girl, because I think he would've let his guard down for a girl much more, but Schwann wasn't as horny as Raven so. Maybe not? Maybe someone he respected.

But like, if the gloves are related - they would've had to just really speedrun their kill so they could go yeet gloves across the town.

We're under the impression that Alyssa wouldn't have been able to hold her own against Schwann in a fight, correct? Thus she would've had to resort to incapacitating him either with drugs or some combination of alcohol and medicine.

Should we check her fingerprints against the bottle of medicine found?

Before we begin... How many fingerprints are we able to take?

From what I overheard... twelve?

While I think it's worth looking at the bottle itself - I'd at least like to identify who we're going to check for prints against it. If we truly want to exhaust our options, we could check all those who could fit the glove against the bottle.

That's the idea.

Like Archer said though, it depends on how many fingerprints we can take.

About twelve? If you feel strongly enough about your theory, we might as well use one to eliminate or convict her immediately.

The thing I'm still stuck on is how wrecked the pub was after that night. If Alyssa wouldn't have been able to hold her own in a fight and needed to drug him, then how did the pub itself get so messed up? I don't think she could've trashed it so bad by herself.

Mm. I think the idea he was drugged and let his guard down and got killed fast. . . that doesn't really match with the pub.

It could've been tussled about in the fight between the two parties or it could've been created to look worse after the fact?

[toppled tables, breaking some bottles]

I find it more impressive that none of you were harmed during the aforementioned 'trashing'.

I was thinking this as well.

I wonder if perhaps the killer attempted to kill Raven first by aiming for his chest - and then, when that didn't work, the brawl between them ensued?

About that-- are we even sure drugs were involved with the alcohol?

We don't - I'm afraid it's just a theory since the painkillers and gloves seemed to be tied, and we then tied the gloves to Raven's murder.

As Sora suggested, it might just be a wild chase. What is factual is that it was someone who was able to overpower Raven as a fighter.

I wouldn't suppose any of you saw Raven's weapon before you were all knocked unconscious and what form it was in?

If there were so many gloves just lying around...

Why are we assuming there would even be fingerprints on such an obvious piece of evidence?

[ LIKE. SHE CAME OVER ALL READY TO GET PRINTED AND EVERYTHING. BUT ]

Likely because it was probably procured earlier in the week, as opposed to later. Unless someone wears gloves all the time, there's a chance that it was left.

In addition, it's a bit odd that it was left behind at all, which suggests it may have been an accident.

I think whoever killed Raven left the signs around town. Just, uh, in terms of locations, they wouldn't have had to go that far. So, looking for more of a troll, if you ask me.

Under that same logic, wouldn't Jeanne be a suspect too? I know someone else mentioned keeping an eye on her earlier, too. She even came up in a few checks last week—not all of them, but enough to be noticeable. Besides, I hadn't even spoken to Raven before or after he the whole Schwann thing happened—I didn't know that detail about him being a womanizer.

But if you already have an idea in your head, enough to call me out and point fingers at me, then me saying anything wouldn't really change anything, right?

... I don't think it was you. I mean... when you woke up, you fell into the blood, right...?

I cannot imagine someone who knew it was there would do something like that.

I can see someone trying to argue I wouldn't have remembered or noticed right away because our effect was thinking we were drunk.

If I didn't want my mind changed, I wouldn't have said anything in the first place.

You're right, I don't know your relationship with Raven or lack thereof. It's good to know and something to consider that puts holes in my theory, I can admit that.
