Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating:

This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM.

Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them.

Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks.

"... Third time isn't the charm, as it turns out. You have nine hours. We'll help with what we can, as before."

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

We're under the impression that Alyssa wouldn't have been able to hold her own against Schwann in a fight, correct? Thus she would've had to resort to incapacitating him either with drugs or some combination of alcohol and medicine.

Should we check her fingerprints against the bottle of medicine found?

Before we begin... How many fingerprints are we able to take?

From what I overheard... twelve?

While I think it's worth looking at the bottle itself - I'd at least like to identify who we're going to check for prints against it. If we truly want to exhaust our options, we could check all those who could fit the glove against the bottle.

My only concern there is that someone with smaller hands could have been wearing the gloves, and thus the number of suspects we have is inaccurate.

Given the current speculation on Alyssa, I think that we can first begin with either eliminating her or not. I'd rather not run out of time and allow indecision to rule so we never use the kit.

About twelve? If you feel strongly enough about your theory, we might as well use one to eliminate or convict her immediately.

If we have that many then yes, we should at the very least eliminate Alyssa now if I'm wrong.

The thing I'm still stuck on is how wrecked the pub was after that night. If Alyssa wouldn't have been able to hold her own in a fight and needed to drug him, then how did the pub itself get so messed up? I don't think she could've trashed it so bad by herself.

It doesn't. If the person with the gloves and the person with the signs in town are the same person as the one who killed him, then it's likely somebody who knew we'd fixate on what we're seeing and not what it actually means.

They must have had to fight, and got the weapon away from him.

Um. . . for the painkillers. . . we don't know they were related to what happened to Raven-san anyway.

Somebody who could fight Raven-san and win, even though he was a soldier. . .

In that case, like, why couldn't they have just completely destroyed the pub artfully? That'd explain why none of us have bruises.

It could've been tussled about in the fight between the two parties or it could've been created to look worse after the fact?

I find it more impressive that none of you were harmed during the aforementioned 'trashing'.

Yeah, us too. I was talking to Dorothy earlier...we weren't exactly all sleeping in the same spot, but none of us were hurt at all when we woke up. So it's like someone had to go in afterwards and mess everything up carefully to make it look bad but without hurting us.

I was thinking this as well.

I wonder if perhaps the killer attempted to kill Raven first by aiming for his chest - and then, when that didn't work, the brawl between them ensued?

Are we sure the beer isn't a set-up, too? Who says somebody actually drank from them instead of just putting it there in front of Raven to frame somebody who knew him a little better?

About that-- are we even sure drugs were involved with the alcohol?

We don't - I'm afraid it's just a theory since the painkillers and gloves seemed to be tied, and we then tied the gloves to Raven's murder.

As Sora suggested, it might just be a wild chase. What is factual is that it was someone who was able to overpower Raven as a fighter.

I wouldn't suppose any of you saw Raven's weapon before you were all knocked unconscious and what form it was in?

But if we need to try and narrow down the painkillers, then why not try the beer still remaining in one of the mugs? Either it's fine or it was tampered with.

If there was a way to do so safely, I'd be all for it but...

Likely because it was probably procured earlier in the week, as opposed to later. Unless someone wears gloves all the time, there's a chance that it was left.

In addition, it's a bit odd that it was left behind at all, which suggests it may have been an accident.
