WEEK TWO: TRIAL
WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... Third time isn't the charm, as it turns out. You have nine hours. We'll help with what we can, as before." Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. If you have any questions at any time, please let us know by pinging us on Discord! |

You're right, I don't know your relationship with Raven or lack thereof. It's good to know and something to consider that puts holes in my theory, I can admit that.

[ there's a strange mixture of emotion radiating from her now—bitterness and... a cool, serene sort of peace. ]
No matter how many times I say "yes, I did it" or "no, I didn't"... you wouldn't know the truth until the results are in.

But even then, you're right. We won't know for sure until the results are in.

[yona looks a little uncertain, but - ]
I can't guarantee that anyone can tell the truth, but... I have an item that can guarantee someone would lie. So if I used it and we asked her a question, we could assume the opposite of her answer is the truth.

Sorry, I know that sounds confusing.

I'm going to help you out and say that if you really want this to work, you should probably think about it carefully and ask a question I can only respond to with "yes" or "no."

How about, "Did you see Raven or Laine alive after curfew?"

You know, there was at least one person who voted for me last week. Based on my answer to that question, I can clear myself of that, too.

I'm glad to use the gem if you think it would help.

Soo-won-san said Alyssa's prints don't match, but... if Claude's under suspicion but he hasn't been cleared yet, should it be used on him instead?

But I'm glad to use it, if we think it would be useful.

(And the air around him is sad now,)
We spoke to each other regularly. We even spoke on Thursday.
