WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Under that same logic, wouldn't Jeanne be a suspect too? I know someone else mentioned keeping an eye on her earlier, too. She even came up in a few checks last week—not all of them, but enough to be noticeable. Besides, I hadn't even spoken to Raven before or after he the whole Schwann thing happened—I didn't know that detail about him being a womanizer.

You're right, I don't know your relationship with Raven or lack thereof. It's good to know and something to consider that puts holes in my theory, I can admit that.

No matter how many times I say "yes, I did it" or "no, I didn't"... you wouldn't know the truth until the results are in.

Unfortunately. People lie. (He understands and he just... feels very sorry right now,) We can't rely on anyone's words and we'll have to look at our evidence and try to make sense of it.

But even then, you're right. We won't know for sure until the results are in.

I can't guarantee that anyone can tell the truth, but... I have an item that can guarantee someone would lie. So if I used it and we asked her a question, we could assume the opposite of her answer is the truth.

I'm going to help you out and say that if you really want this to work, you should probably think about it carefully and ask a question I can only respond to with "yes" or "no."

I think "Did you kill someone on Thursday night, yes or no" would be pretty difficult to twist the truth for.

That could work. The effect should last four twenty-four hours, anyway, so if we're not sure, we can keep asking questions.

Then I think that you can ask additional clarifying questions afterward even if the initial response might not be a match.

Right. It's just that between Hua Cheng and I, there are only two of them, so I'd want to make sure we're making a good choice about who to use it on.
