WEEK SIX: MINGLE
WEEK SIX: MINGLE (25 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha! Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired. |

How does it work? [a nod to the crystal ball. explain the lore.]

[He instantly snaps his head up when the cat is removed, his lips drawn back almost like he's going to snarl? But he seems to think better of it, just shaking his head as he glowers at the lady, sitting down on the ground.]
[Yeah, he'll hear your stupid fortunes. Binch.]
no subject
But she taps the crystal ball. ]
Usually when people enter my tent, it's because they have a problem they wish to seek answers for... what is troubling you, children?
[ They can hear a yawning sound from where the cat is. ]
no subject
Troubling me? [ she'll sneak a look at sora an then to hansa for a moment before looking away.
yeah. if you think she's gonna say what's bugging her in front of an audience, then good luck with that. ] This and that. I don't have any answers to really seek.
no subject
...how much of the future can you really see? Or, I guess, how much do you think we should know? [...] If I ask, can you release the cat?
[both of his companions seem like they want to pay attention to the cat so. he'll help.]
no subject
[He grumbles, under his breath.]
My problem is that you're a terrible person who won't let me look at your cat.
[BACK TO SEETHING QUIETLY ON THE FLOOR]
no subject
If you won't let me tell you your fortune, then the cat starves, you bootleg Inigo Montoya lookin' bitch. This is my livelihood.
[ She dropped her fake accent for that. And then clears her throat, returning to it as she address the other two. ]
I can see many things, children.
no subject
........okay. yeah, sora can do the talking here because izumo's got nothing. ]
no subject
he. is trying not to laugh even if he has no idea who inigo montoya is, but he sounds very tragic. anyway. well....]
Riiight...[what does he even want to know? there are many questions he could ask, but perhaps the most relevant is a simple one.]
Usually when we're told to meet on this side of the bridge, someone needs our help. So I guess what's troubling me is not knowing what to do next.
[there. nice and simple and not likely to dredge up very personal problems.]
no subject
You're an Inigo Montoya lookin' bootleg bitch.
[And then he just shakes his head, pointing at Sora.]
Whatever he said. Just tell us what to do next.
no subject
[ The cat is mewing. The fortune teller idly pats the kitty. ]
But ah! I can see it... your future... the children...
no subject
Are you even listening to yourself?
[ suddenly she has so many questions, or well, even more questions than she had before. is this fine? who knows anymore but...
when the fortune teller mentions children, she has her attention again. unfortunately. ]
no subject
Okay. Back up. What exactly do you see then? If you know the future then you know what's troubling us, right?
no subject
What children?
[GET TO THE POINT]
no subject
Is he always like this? Does he also ask you how movies end when you're twenty minutes into it? Fucking tourists.
[ Anyway. ]
The children are the key.
no subject
He just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Probably. If you let him pet the cat, I'm sure he'll be less....everything.
[ probably. again. ]
no subject
What children? You don't mean us, right? And what are they the key to?
no subject
[Yeah, he's not going to answer. Keep going, you two. Maybe you can be more mature than the man whose brain is currently shackled to a wild horse who will not be patronized, even by the most dedicated horse girl.]
no subject
[ She puts the cat back on the ground.
Anyway. ]
The children are the key. They're haunting you all.
no subject
what. does that even mean. either way, izumo is glad that the catte is free but will allow hansa to have the catte since he's feral and izumo can still fawn from the distance. that said— ]
I don't feel anyone haunting me.
no subject
Wait, is that something you can do usually? [this is to izumo, not at all thinking it could simply be just seeing ghosts like last time. but he faces the lady again.] If they're haunting us that means something is keeping them here, right? What is it?
no subject
[Oh, he's getting the cat? He reaches for it, happily gathering it into his lap. He is appeased...for now.]
[He pets Mojo gently, looking back and forth between the fortune teller and the others.]
...What, do we have to exorcise these kids or something?
no subject
They will bring you great anguish while you are here. I can see it... [ she closes her eyes. ] The pink one has already fallen due to them.
no subject
but, uh. to first answer sora's question. she'll just shrug her one shoulder. ]
Kind of? I feel like I might be able to but... [ memories are like swiss cheese and so what is remembering things accurately. ] Don't forget you could probably have tells if you were.
[ things moving around. spoopy shadows.... you know. ]
no subject
[FALLEN DOES NOT SOUND GREAT. he does not and will not know it is very literal.] How do we unhaunt ourselves?
