WEEK SIX: MINGLE (25 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha! Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired.

I'm not gonna drop 'em! They're totally balanced and I'm gonna finish one by the time we pick a game anyway. [and then he'll have an even more free hand. this is a fool-proof plan.]

What do you think? Shooting game? That one where you have to knock the bottles over? Something else?

Mmm... one of those sounds good. I'm not sure how good I am with a gun, but -- let's give it a try.

[he shoves the bar in his mouth and gestures for alex to follow.]

The shooting game is pretty easy. You hit the targets as they move in a line. [he somehow says all of this around his ice cream.] Just gotta aim.

[ is she meant to be grossed out by this or not. she's unsure. ]

No harm in giving it a go, right? Although I'll go second.

[alex please they're these kind of bars. it's fine. but he makes a face.]

I can't hold this popcorn in one hand and eat it too, so...

[ go forth, young one. shoot some prizes. ]

[this is his downfall because guns require two hands but he'll make it work! he's balancing ice cream in his hand while keeping another bar in his mouth and picking up the gun, aiming for a target. he hits it!

...the target does not go down, and he frowns suddenly.]

Yeah, you definitely hit it. But it didn't move.

well. she hits the target. but it's definitely off centre by a decent amount. regardless -- the target does not budge. ]

[he squints at the targets dubiously.]

That should've done something. ...maybe if we both shoot at the same one?

[ she looks at the target. and then at her gun. and then at the target again. ]

I... we can try?

[ she makes no guarantees, sora. ] Which one are we aiming for?

[reconnective]

Um...[give him a second to watch targets float past. this is absolutely not going to work but he is determined.] The big one with the red rings on it? That should be easy enough.

[chanteuser]

I-- okay? I'll do my best.

[ she... waits for sora's cue and then she'll fire. RNG will tell me if she manages it. ]

[reconnective]

Okay. On the count of three. One...two...three! [and they can both fire!!! he hits the target as it bounces off a little, but it'll depend if alex's helps knock it over.]

[chanteuser]

[ rng says she hits it against all odds and---!!!!


well it's rigged to heck isn't it? rip their attempts. ]

Oh.

[reconnective]

...it must be broken. We should try something else. [cheap game!!!]

We could just try a ride and come back to these later?

Honestly? That sounds like a better idea. [dumb game. he puts down the gun and works on his second ice cream bar.]

Ferris wheel maybe? Or maybe one of those ones that spins.
