WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE
WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person. |

The young man shrugs. ]
If it's the person I think it is, we're in the same club. But we're not due to meet yet, so she could be anywhere. My apologies, but we're not in the same grade, so I can't really say where she may be.
[ rabbit is the senpai ]
Is there a reason that you need her?
no subject
We are looking for someone. She looks like... [listen she pretty much gives the same description that Jeanne did, more or less.]
no subject
She's a good friend of mine from a while back! [ like, 24 hours ago. ] I know she can be kind of... mm... helpless? In a cute way, but still! So I want to make sure she's okay.
[ also she can complete their band ]
no subject
[ Jeanne is using her CYOA knowledge and hoping she's making the right connections because I AM ASSUMING a certain king looked like a certain girl.
(prayer hands emoji) ]
no subject
[ is her helpful response.
Meanwhile, Jeanne... makes the right call. He just blinks and laughs softly. ]
Of course she does. Well, I'd check the second year classes first.
no subject
Ange just.
Continues.]
Do you know where we might be able to find her...? I would truly appreciate any help you can give, even a guess...!
no subject
[ even if he's a weirdo who made them perform onstage for NOTHING. she doesn't really know the traditional high school structure, but it surely can't be that difficult to find the second year classrooms. so, off they go! ]
no subject
[ All Jeanne knows the structure of is a French boarding school?
Anyway, they'll make this work. To the second year classrooms!! Won't stop until they get there!! Maybe they should ask people to direct them so they don't waste time.
She asks a random student for directions. ]
no subject
[ The girl returns to her book unhelpfully.
The student helpfully point to the direction. He also warns to be careful because people have reported weird sightings over there? Strange. ]
no subject
FINE.
If Alex was able to say something maybe she'd try harder but Ange is in charge right now so Ange is legitimately just gonna leave and presumably bring Alex with her.
She legitimately feels like looking over the school herself will be faster than dealing with someone who may or may not know where Rabbit is.
TIME TO START LOOKING AROUND THE SCHOOL. Maybe reunite the party. Who knows.]
no subject
they follow the directions to the second year rooms! ]
I mean, things were already pretty weird. It can't get much worse!
[ time loops and samurai murder trains are bad! ]
no subject
Unless the weird sighting is finding Rabbit. ]
Hilda, please do not say that.
[ She is inviting trouble, and Jeanne is bracing herself, watching carefully for anything out of the norm.
But to the second year rooms! Or as near or as close they can get. ]
Let's hope it's a harmless weird.
no subject
Meanwhile, the other two girls go to the second year rooms. They hear very loud laughter in the distance. ]
no subject
Murder is probably the least surprising thing that's happened thus far.
Anyway, if they eavesdrop can they gather more deets...? Like where said murder happened, or where they should go to ~investigate~]
no subject
[ but okay there's the laughs. she perks up a little at the oddity, shooting jeanne a glance before moving down the hall to Investigate.
can they go into whatever classroom the laughter is erupting from? ]
no subject
[ It's a good thing Jeanne isn't near the murder rumors.
Jeanne prays laughter is a good sign and not a bad one, but yeah!! Heading towards the laughter. Can they find and go to the source? ]
no subject
They can. They will walk in on a group of students, one being a green haired girl. She looks at them and
immediately bursts into laughter and points at them. ]
no subject
Time to start checking classrooms as they go!!
As they try to also figure out if they can get any more details than that, but if not, they're just gonna have to check each and every one.
I hope this school isn't that big.]
no subject
actually the most frightful thing in this cyoa is being made fun of by high schoolers. hilda shoots this new girl a curious look. ]
Um... what's so funny?
no subject
Is something the matter?
no subject
But the girl wipes tears from her eyes. ]
You guys look... so ridiculous... hahaha!
[ Please quickly ask your questions while you still can. ]
no subject
in any case. ]
Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up. [ sighs!! ] We're looking for someone, about yay high and...
[ please insert description of rabbit here again, why didn't they loot her photo ]
no subject
but also, stealing other people's personal belongings is a bad thing!!! it'd be really useful right about now, though. ]
Have you seen her lately?
no subject
Oh, you mean [ a student accidentally knocks over an entire desk ]? I haven't seen her come in yet... Are you her friends?
no subject
MIKURURABBIT YOUR NAME ]Yup! She's a good friend of mine, but I haven't seen her all day. Maybe she got caught up somewhere?
[ does she know where, perhaps? ]
