WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE

WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

Also just for that, he gives his head a bit of a shake so that his hair just spills everywhere in defiance, also chuckling]

Well, then I lived for a couple of eons in one of Yona's memories... so I suppose I have no right to judge time right now.

A couple of eons? [:o] Ha, well, you're beating me with ten years, then.

[He lets out a pleased sigh.]

We missed you.

... It was rather lonely.

[Ha. Ha ha. But he does not want to dwell on that. And at Hansa's response, Chiron will lean over and plant a kiss on his temple]

Me as well. I am thankful to be here with you all again.

[robopriest]

[He looks up at Chiron with some concern, even after the kiss. Chiron...]

Well, you aren't alone any more. [And he leans up to place a kiss against his cheek.] I can promise you that.

[Hey, sometimes you feel the weight of time pass all by your lonesome and it's not great. It's fine.

His expression still softens at the kiss, and his tail gives a pleased, if amused flick to the side.]

[SAID WITH A KNOWING LOOK, he bet Hansa wrestled some large creature while he was away]

[He's looks like a very pleased dog who totally got into the cookie jar and ate everything inside it when his owner wasn't looking and hasn't been caught for it yet.]

I behaved a little bit.

Also I realize he is just casually holding Hansa in one arm, maybe he should stop that.

Emet-Selch's around. I know he'll be pleased to see you.

[Oh, Hansa absolutely had a babysitter around. Chiron's smile ticks up a notch, at the mention of both of those names]

I will see him in due time. I'm in no hurry. No doubt he has others to greet as well.

Yeah, we did. We even became teenagers, which was a bit weird, but kind of fun?

[Though he sort of likes being a cyborg a whole lot more.]

Teenagers? I would've liked to see that. [ baby hansa!

You should've seen Emet-Selch as a teenager. Just as grumpy as he always is.
