WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

(Really, the last thing he wanted to do was beg someoen for a dance!! He has his pride still!

He's reaches out to take her hand and steps out right into the center of the room. He's absolutely going to take the lead if she lets him!! Otherwise, he honestly doesn't care for dancing too much and would follow along with her! Let's establish the lead asdkghjdsg)

[ how did she even get dragged here in the first place? no idea. this sort of thing is the complete opposite of the things she actually enjoys going to. socializing with everyone? getting to know all of these faces? not interested but. here she is!

Honestly? I'm not particularly fond of most of the dances I've learned. (Fodlan nobility has the lamest dances,) But perhaps being away from Fodlan has me missing them a little more fondly.

(Holding out his hand to her. If she lets him, he'll take her hand.)

but, she'll look between his hand and him in a manner not too far off from when they first met, except, well, this time she isn't terrified out of her mind. there is still a level of apprehension as she slowly uncrosses her arms to let him take her by the hand. ]

Of course. It helped that I had quite a bit of support to back it up. I couldn't possibly let them down.

It was more of a group effort. All I did was come up with the idea. If others hadn't also expressed interest and offered to help, there's no way I could have done all of this by myself.

(Which is a humble way of saying... yeah. It him.)

And I'm not much of a fan either. (He laughs lightly,) I don't know... maybe being away from Fodlan has me itching to get on the floor again, though.

Yona does not seem to have any problems with Claude taking her hand.]

[...although the dances in their worlds are pretty different, so this is going to be a learning experience. But it's okay! Yona's a quick learner, generally.]

(Just gonna pull her a little closer, situating her hand on his shoulder and his hand behind her back. It's just an easy three step waltz at first,)

I'm afraid this one is very interesting, at least, not in the beginning.

[gently piles on eski threads...but sora's very happy with the way this has turned out, not to mention he agrees with pretty much everything claude's said. it's nice when people work together for great results, and it's important that they all get along.

she's definitely been bustling around and chatting to people excitedly in between casually picking off more and more of the desserts as the party goes by, but it doesn't look like she's bothered to dance yet. So she's fairly surprised when Claude walks up, a cookie still half in her mouth.

Thank god she like. Takes it out and puts it back on her plate before answering. She has SOME manners.]

(At least someone's enjoying the food! He doesn't mind waiting for her to compose herself. If anything, he looks terribly amused by the fact she didn't insist on talking to him through a cookie...)

Of course. I don't see anyone else around. (I mean, yeah, there are other people around but they're clearly setting their plates or having their own conversations or something.) Don't worry, I'll show you.

Really? (He laughs.) I guess this is the part where I should say something like, "A night to remember." But what if I just promised not to step on any toes.

Oh, it's difficult. There are a whole bunch of rules you gotta know and just when you think you're in the clear, you find out there's even more unwritten rules.

(He's complaining! But he's also playing around,)

Don't worry, I'm not a stickler, though. (And since she's agreed, he's going to go ahead and take her hand! And immediately start to pull her out onto the floor,) Place one hand on my shoulder.

(Maybe not the top of his shoulder because of heights tho. Just as close as she can get comfortably! He'll help her put it in the right place too and then reach around her waist to rest his hand on her back. Yeah, they're pretty close now.)
