WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. anyway. well, first, lup will notice and judge that he's in this pirate outfit without the hat, then she will probably notice the slit throat. since that's like, kind of obvious on the frontsies part of thing.

there's blood all over his front starting from his throat. it is a mystery what the source could possibly be. ]

Laine is wearing this! Because it's very important to Hydok that you all be reminded that Laine is a space pirate and, unfortunately, died in pirate week.

Aside from that, he's missing an eye! ... Both eyes! Maybe. You'd have to check under his eyepatch to be sure of that, but his non-eyepatch eye socket is gored. ]

And I meant fresh gloves!! Though I wish Chiron was degenerate enough to just reuse shit.

... Yeah tho there being a gored eye means he will start at the top of the head. How nice. Chiron will gently peel back the eyepatch to make sure how many eyes he's working with (haaaa), and also more closely examine the wound.

... I'm so sorry for anyone who doesn't like eye gore. He'll be checking to see if the surrounding area is also wounded? like was only the eye gored or did whatever cause the damage also hit like, the bone socket?]

[ It doesn't quite account for the circular part of the injury, but it's a decent match for the stab wound. ]

[ homura is unfortunately familiar with gunshot wounds, so while bucky waits to hear back on what type of caliber the bullet was to figure out what kind of weapon we have, homura is going to

head to the autopsy table. hewwo. does laine's head wound seem like something she'd be able to look at and go 'yeah, gun did that' at a glance, probably not but i'm covering my bases.

first off- there's like, no muzzle imprint around the eye or anything right? they probably didn't literally hold the gun up to his head or anything but i'm checking anyway because i might as well.

second... is any of laine's hair like, singed? or does any of the skin nearby look burned? or does it smell a bit smoky or like gunpowder? since gunpowder goes boom, and the muzzle flame and hot gases does travel at least a bit of distance out of the barrel and all, if we don't have that then they can rule out a close range shot.

lastly, is it possible to gauge roughly the caliber of the bullet from the way the wound looks? maybe not exactly, but homura is, unfortunately, familiar with a decentish variety so. here we are.

No muzzle imprint. Laine's hair is not singed, and the skin is not burned. And again, we have not specified whether or not it was a bullet wound, so who knows about caliber! ]

is there a rough diameter of either injury. the front is just the eye, right, it doesn't look like there's damage or bruising to the area surrounding all the mess? ]

Anyway. Weapons check! She will compare the weapons that have been offered up to the injuries on both Raven and Laine, including the scuff marks on Raven's gem thingy.

Additionally, are all of the guns offered of the healing fire type? As in, can they be loaded with bullets or not? Shiro volunteered to help her with gun, so there's that.]

[ the guns are all healing fire type and i guess swords could reasonably fit raven's throat wound and gem thingy but you know what would fit even BETTER? his sword bow, which has blood on it and which is a perfect match
