WEEK SIX: MINGLE (25 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Elsa, Yona, Shigeo, and Fiora's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Also, anyone who had been poisoned during trial will still be feeling sick! Haha! Finally, participants will find that they are now sporting a new injury. This injury is one that they received in their past, whether they remember it or not. No matter how fatal the injury is, participants won't die from it, and the pain they feel will be dulled down. However, if another participant touches someone's injury effect, even if it's covered, then they will both be hit with whatever pain that was felt when the injury was first inflicted. This pain will last ten seconds. The injury can also be as minor or major as desired.

You think? [he's walking at a decent speed, ignoring his injuries as usual and keeping a pace izumo can follow with as they head for the fortune telling tent.] I dunno. It's kinda nice that nothing's on fire for once.

[Meanwhile, Hansa, sans eyepatch with full shoujo crystal cybernetic eye in view, just looks....extremely tense. There's a lot of noise, bad things happen on Wednesday, and he's just ready to suplex the nearest thing that looks like its going to attack him.]

[Otherwise, he's fine!]

[Hansa just shakes his head, his voice quiet.]

[ Wow.

The tent is fine? It's decorate to look very mystical, as all fortune telling tents are. However, the machine that is usually there to give out the fortunes has been replaced by an actual person. There's a crystal ball in front of her and everything, so you know she's a professional.

She gestures for them to come closer. ]

Nothing's on fire yet. If I remember right, the house didn't catch fire until after someone did something.

[ it's fine for now, but hmm.... guess there's nothing to do but to approach the nice lady who is no longer a robot. she'll also give hansa a look because, well... you okay there? ]

[into the tent! he nods because also stop no more fires!! but he's looking around the tent itself because he hasn't been here, but he's eyeing the crystal ball curiously before he gives the lady a slight smile. he will follow izumo and approach, making sure hansa's also following.]

[He does follow, but he stops short at the sight of the random lady. He pauses, shooting her a glare, and although he does step closer, only a tad, he's a good foot behind the other two.]

[What is up with you, strange lady??]

[ She ushers them closer, speaking in what is probably an offensive fake accent if it was possible at all to tell what she's trying to mimic. ]

Come... I will reveal your destinies to you, children.

[ Hansa is in his 30s.

But Sora will see a lot of celestial decorations! Some tarot cards, fake skulls, etc. There's a black cat napping in the corner. ]

[ izumo will hobble closer but only because the cat is likely in the same direction. the decoration is pretty much on point of what she would expect from a hack but...catte. ]

Destinies?

[ slightly. gravitating towards the woman but also eyes on catte. she does not sound convinced. ]

[his eyes also immediately flicker to the catte, but he's letting izumo focus on that while he steps closer to the lady. he tilts his head at the words though and happily ignores the accent. it's fine.

...the decorations get a slow nod of approval and he looks a little more mystified. maybe don't say that to someone who deals with destiny a lot.]

We all have different ones, right? How're you gonna decide whose destiny you'll reveal first? [he glances at hansa from the corner of his eye, but he doesn't encourage him to get closer. it's fine. hansa is a free cyborg who can do whatever he wants.]

[Destinies? What is this crap?]

[Hansa just lets out an unimpressed snort, and just beelines straight for the cat to squat down and offer it a hand to sniff. You two have fun with fate(/) and fortunes and everything. Cat is more important.]

[ The cat looks up, leaning in to sniff... and then the lady reaches down to grab the catte by the neck and lift the baby onto her lap. ]

There is a fortune fee to look at my cat.

She ignores everything else they just said, because this is the more important matter. ]

[sacredchants]

[ rude? the catte should be available for viewing at the utmost least?? but whatever. ]

...that's a weird fee, but fine. Tell us our destinies.

[ is there somewhere to sit? please tell me there's somewhere to sit...that isn't the ground. ]

[reconnective]

[...well. okay. the cat doesn't seem too fussed and so sora slips his hands in his pocket and seems to also be looking for somewhere for izumo and only izumo to sit since hansa is fine with the ground apparently and sora doesn't mind standing]

How does it work? [a nod to the crystal ball. explain the lore.]

[He instantly snaps his head up when the cat is removed, his lips drawn back almost like he's going to snarl? But he seems to think better of it, just shaking his head as he glowers at the lady, sitting down on the ground.]

[Yeah, he'll hear your stupid fortunes. Binch.]

[ They're probably a foldable chair, painted black to match the aesthetics. Izumo can have a sit.

But she taps the crystal ball. ]

Usually when people enter my tent, it's because they have a problem they wish to seek answers for... what is troubling you, children?

[ They can hear a yawning sound from where the cat is. ]

[sacredchants]

[ she'll take it and help herself to a seat and finally really take in everything because it's kind of hard to focus on anything else while focusing on not falling over. ]

Troubling me? [ she'll sneak a look at sora an then to hansa for a moment before looking away.

yeah. if you think she's gonna say what's bugging her in front of an audience, then good luck with that. ] This and that. I don't have any answers to really seek.

[there's a tiny sigh of relief when izumo gets off her feet, but he seems to actually be taking the question seriously. he catches that look, and he glances at the feral hansa quietly before he hums under his breath.]

...how much of the future can you really see? Or, I guess, how much do you think we should know? [...] If I ask, can you release the cat?

[both of his companions seem like they want to pay attention to the cat so. he'll help.]

[He's still just. Glowering, which is hard to do with a shoujo crystal eye, but he manages.]

[ She dropped her fake accent for that. And then clears her throat, returning to it as she address the other two. ]

[And then he just shakes his head, pointing at Sora.]

[ The cat is mewing. The fortune teller idly pats the kitty. ]

[ izumo's just. going to look at hansa and just. ]

[ suddenly she has so many questions, or well, even more questions than she had before. is this fine? who knows anymore but...

when the fortune teller mentions children, she has her attention again. unfortunately. ]
