Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up.

As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks.

Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated.

Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before...

Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy.

Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

[ unfortunately, once the girl talked izumo, the cat fucking leapt away, so izumo was bodily tackled for no good reason, but now that there's a commotion, the attendant forgets all about Alphinaud's invitation and simply drags him back to the rest of the group sans Homura?

she forgot to take his sword but that's probably for the best ]

[ and then the cat leaps on top of the girl, possibly to be terrible or to protect izumo, who knows, but it mostly means the girl is now trying and failing to wrestle a cat while on top of izumo, causing everyone to look.

meanwhile, homura follows the boy out of the room. he's not there when she looks, but she will notice what looks like an armored person planting bombs on some pillars? that's fine and cool. ]

[ IZUMO IS A GOOD GIRL AND DIDN'T DESERVE TO BE TACKLED LIKE THIS?!???

but here she goes. down on the ground, i guess. hope no one wanted her to get up again any time soon. also she'll let out a bit of a yelp/scream as she falls to the ground because of her injuries. also because she's being caught up with being wrestled with???

sometimes you spend your healing item healing someone other than yourself so you just suffer. anyway hope this commotion is ultimately good for everyone. ]

[As much as Rufus would like to split and look around, Homura is definitely on her own now. He steps past the girl to crouch down, warp an arm around Izumo's torso, and pull her out from under the chaos.]

[ well hope no one needed her any time soon because uh

The cat, it's like you guys aren't seeing the-- I know it's up to something, we can't let her do this, cat-- Did you see where she went?! [ a beat as she squints at alphi ] Wait, is that my sword.

[ the cat has absconded now, padding away seemingly satisfied with itself? it is going to the room homura is occupying now.

speaking of which the armored person pauses, looks at their bomb, looks at homura, looks at their bomb again, looks back at her and ]

[ is everyone in this place a terrible liar. well, it's fine, since whoever that is is immediately trying to attack homura with a stun baton, to make their lie even more believable ]

[ bless you rufus for saving her from continue to live on her poor choices. though once she's good to go, she'll wave off rufus. clearly he doesn't have to be here and since she found the sword, she should be the one addressing the girl anyway. go help homura!! or. find the cat.

anyway, i'm pretty sure izumo is still on the ground as she'll be answering because, well. she has been freed but will still need a little aid getting back up...as well as something to use to prop herself up on. ]

and this is why she didn't approach! that said, getting forcefully changed into her flowing gown of a ballroom outfit isn't exactly doing her favors for moving quickly because it's this thing, so she fires a shot as soon as she gets the chance at- are there unprotected parts of the armor. at somewhere like that if applicable as she darts off to the side.

[ starting off with Homulily and Rufus this time; the soldier who is NOT scorpia, i'd NEVER dare put her in armor, doesn't seem to have uncovered skin, but that somehow does not seem to matter when it comes to arrows, as the hit makes them stumble in their attack. They are not still holding the bomb, as it is on the pillar, and they are looking nervously between both Homulily and Rufus now. Rufus can decide what he wants to do, because the cat is now? there? on the opposite end of the hallway, holding an arrow and something sparkly in its mouth, looking super smug again?

The girl, meanwhile, is staring at them both like they are crazy people. She's the crazy person. Obsessed with a cat. ]

is it the kind of ice that's approaching from all angles or just coming at them in a particular direction? either way, izumo will definitely be using whatever weight and leverage she has to move herself and alphi out of the way of the ice.

why is the most injured person in this group being made to part take in quick time events?!?!?? ]

[Rupe takes this opportunity to enter the room by squeezing inside between Rufus' feet. There's a split second where he sees the cat before bolting after it while Rufus follows suit.

Homura can deal with the soldier.]

going after it is fine and all but at least help her cut her dress or something like in transistor, rufus! you have the sharp implements! probably. one of them has to have a knife, right.

anyway since moving fast is hampered the only solution is to hamper the soldier more with pew pew as she. tries to make her way closer to the bombs. i don't know what she's going to do once she gets there, maybe we'll just yeet it into the distance while ignoring what it is we're supposed to do here, it's fine, this npc can go unrescued. ]

[ Whaaaat in the hell.

Alphinaud will definitely do his part in getting the both of them up quickly. ]

Forget her for the time being—we should catch up with the others!

[ Let's scram. ]

[ It's sudden spikes of ice trying to trap them! So it really is quick time events for team Izumo and Alphinaud. The girl squawks at being left behind but off they go to try and join Rufus and Homura. Or, well, mostly Homura, fighting with the soldier who, after being hit a few times, seems to have learned to dodge. Or at least to throw, as they're throwing some sort of electrified disk directly at Homura to try and get her away from the bomb. And maybe she'll get the extra fun of the quick time event icicles forming from the ground if Izumo and Alphinaud make their way to her safely, ha ha.

Rufus and Rupe go on cat quest, and the cat leads them all the way to the roof of the ice castle that was apparently where they were. The something sparkly in the cat's mouth might seem more obvious as to being part of Swan's non-work designated outfit now that they're on the roof, and the cat stands on the edge of the building waiting for Rupe and Rufus. Waiting for something, anyway. ]

[ IZUMO HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A GOOD GIRL THIS WHOLE GAME AND THIS IS WHAT SHE GETS??? anyway, pray that alphi isn't going to let them get caught up in the spikes. i also rolled a dice to see what would happen and i'm making the executive decision to not use it. (no one needs to see how bad of a roll it was.)

also sorry definitely not!adora for splitting but they're here to find swan (probably) and not get wrapped up in this mess (too late for that). that said—izumo will make sure to be holding onto alphi as they scram...? ]

That girl and her sword are still important somehow. There would be no reason for me to have a copy of it and for her to show up again with it if it wasn't.

[They keep a distance of some meters between themselves and the cat. Rufus takes a step forward toward the edge, but is beaten to the punch by Rupe, who, more than over the fruitless pursuit, bounds forward.

There's a click and Rupe, by a mechanism only Rufus is there to witness, fires the pistol strapped to his side at the cat. Bang!]

[ well, given that the two are izumo and alphi, presumably yuuri does not have to deal with the ice the two of them are bringing... yet.

which- screw you, electric disks, she tucks into a catlike roll to dodge them. sure, um. sure hope there wasn't anything important behind her that the soldier doesn't want them hitting, hm. she is still going to focus in on those bombs, how are they attached, and more importantly like, what kind are they because if this is the kind where you have to solve wires then hmm. Hmmmmm. I'm out.

oh well, how does she get these off the pillars the important thing here. if the soldier is threatening her in this she is whipping out the gun tucked away in the folds of her dress and not being shy with it, come closer and she'll shoot. ]

We can worry about that when we're not in immediate danger!

[ And also like... she bulldozed Izumo over, he's a little bitter. But that girl is probably fine? It's fine. Alphinaud is more focused on getting Izumo and himself to safety, and while he doesn't actually know how to properly use a sword, he can make attempts to hack away at any of the ice that gets in their way with it. He's trying.

But they will definitely be trying to catch up with the other two. ]

[ I know how bad of a roll it was. It was hilarious.

Anyway, uh, Rupe shoots the cat! The cat takes the hit! The cat is thrown off the castle! The arrow and bit of cape with her. Down they go...

Everything turns into a bright light and wow I sure hope no one feels disoriented about this, because they will now find themselves in an area Izumo will once again feel familiar with, which is a very yellow and green looking industrial complex. Whatever they were doing, they are at least deposited in sight of each other ... and of a new companion! Just kidding, it's the blonde girl again, though she's got her sword with her this time and she's not wearing a prom outfit. Unlike the rest of them. Who are still in their cute dresses and tuxes. Yay.

At least they're ... maybe... not in immediate danger? Hm. ]

You... again. [ she squints ] Okay, new plan. You tell me what you're looking for to always end up around me, and I help you after we rescue my friends. Or you tell me I'm insane and seeing things, these are both very real options. But I know you're not from the Horde or the Rebellion.

but wow!!! of all of the places to be brought back to, this one is rather unpleasant if only because it's a rather painful reminder of what happened to her. one that left a particular impression on her—one might say that it left a hole in her that few could fill. terrible, honestly, and once again, alphinaud is going to be responsible in keeping her upright.
