WEEK FIVE: MINGLE (29 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Alyssa, Hikaru, and Bucky's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. On that note, if your character did not stay, please make sure to check your notifs. Once again, participants may find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Finally, participants will find that they now have another pet to take care of. Small creatures (based on any animal of player choice, real or mythical) will be following them around all week. However, these creatures are emotionally tied to their participant, so whatever the person they are connected to is feeling, they will outwardly display it. Angry? They will be hostile. Happy? So are they! Even more, they will react to other participants based on how theirs feels about the other. Anyone their participant loves, they will also love. Hope you don't secretly hate anyone, that might be awkward.

MINI-EVENT: BALL PREPARATIONS

[ On Wednesday, around noon, everyone will receive a notif on their PHS telling them to head to the pink castle in the north. Once they’re all there in the foyer, where the three Leaders await, Swan steps forward and sends a burst of sparkles into the air. Behind them, Goat sets off a party popper, for some reason.

With that, the three Leaders lead everyone into a previously locked room: a ballroom. There, Swan speaks. ]

To gather the nova this week, you’ll have to prepare this room! [ They twirl in place to gesture at the whole ballroom. ] We’re not one hundred percent sure what will happen, but have fun with it!

How are we supposed to cook if the oven's taken?

[Ange's turtledove is nesting sleepily in her hair, but it chirps some sort of response at the quack.

As for Ange, she hums a little, because she likes this group!!]

I am not so sure on the oven... perhaps we can do the other parts of the recipes first? They may be finished with it by the time we are finished.

[as they gain access to the kitchen, sora leads both lup and chiron inside to get a scope of what they're working with. he seems to be walking a little slow, favoring his right side and not moving his right shoulder much, while ignoring the few bandages on his face.

nevertheless, he gestures with a burnt left hand toward the cabinets and the oven itself as his small emotion-reading friend joins them and bobs in place, happy to be here.]

So this should be pretty easy! I've never made a five-layer cake before, but how hard can it be? We just need to find some ingredients.

[and then, for some strange reason, a large bird suddenly zooms through the kitchen before it promptly settles in sora's hair, squawking quietly as it nests. hm. well that's fine.]

[ she says, following sora into the room. as she's saying this, the bird nests in sora's hair, and her own weasel shrieks and immediately starts hissing at it. ]

The good news is I have made a five layer cake before! Multiple times! [ she says, over the hissing. ] The bad news is if I touch the oven, I can't guarantee it won't blow up.

[ she does not seem surprised to see sora injured, though she does make a sour expression at the sight of it. ]

[ alex looks... less than enthusiastic? it's not like she hates cleaning, but this is a whole ballroom. and they are three people. ]

[ in the background there is a squeaking noise, as a little mouse runs close to the wall of the ballroom, ducking around the swiping paws of a little black cat that seems determined to catch it.

That's the spirit, Miss Alex. [ he's just glad he didn't get a cooking task, to be honest! everyone should be so glad. ] Between the three of us, we can surely get this done quickly.

[ his little creature, now once again a qilin, is sitting on his head, also peering up at the chandelier. ]

A glance up - he raises a hand to lazily wave at Ochako where she's working with Dorothy and Rufus - and then he looks at the decorations that the other group has already left for them to hang up. ]

... hm, well. I guess we pick a corner and start putting them up. Wherever there aren't others already working so that we don't make a mess.

It says we have to design paper invitations, but it doesn't actually say for what...should be pretty easy, though!
